Thanks Boyd for your series of build stages for the Moebius Flying Sub in 1/32nd scale! I have this unbuilt kit and frankly was intimidated figuring out how to light the controls up besides the Voodoo FX reactor kit. Now I have new direction and confidence to proceed on my build!

My dad was a NASA Engineer and I was in High School (early 1970’s). Voyage was on TV and Dad happened to see the flying dub. He smiled in amazement and said the was a re-entry concept (NASA) vehicle in the early 1960’s.

Just perfect, Boyd. I have waiting to see you build this one for a long time and it has been worth the wait. This is the best large scale flying sub build I have seen. Exceptional detail. In fact, you have lit parts of the model I haven't seen anyone else light up. All those little tiny lights on the side of the control area and on the console. Just stellar!!! P.S. I want one!!! ;)

Excellent job on this kit!!!!!! I used to own a Hobbytown USA store..The Great Recession put that to an end. The huge re release is in storage waiting for the day when I can rest and built it. Those pesky Great Recession Bill Collectors are nipping at my heels....Where's my bail out????

I mixed the color starting off with medium yellow and then I added in some medium brown until I thought it looked pretty close.

+TrekWorks I have 4 of these kits when I am done my 1/32 scale cylon raider want to build 2 of them one with led lites another with out lites with the landing gear and the claws. tag did a great job on his cylon rader kit I told him about a Website called (BY YOUR COMMAND.NET ) THEY HAVE PHOTOS OF THE ORIGINAL FILMING MODELS FROM THE ORIGINAL TV SHOW
