Your templates are a hidden gem. I have 4 hobonichi planners for the 2022 year and did not want to spend a lot of money just decorating. And now I can decorate exactly how I want. TYFS this!

So cool!!! I had purchased one of your templates and completely forgot how to work with it. LOL...so excited to try it. Love your tutorials. Thank you for putting them together.

OMG I did this template and followed you all the way and it was fantastic. I did iiiiiiiiiiit yeah. For the SVG black out file I had to weld it first before I alligned them, if I didn't the slice button wouldn't show up. It was fine with the other blackout file. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. Thank you so much.

Hi Moe ! thanks i had been using the templates for the hobonichi for two years, finally I cave and bought a silouette portrait 3. I used to cut manually but now for some reason i can make the files for the hobonichi once they are done in canva to fit into the correct measure on silouette space. i try to do it manually but it will make it smaller than 8.5 in x 11. If someone has any tips i appreciate it. Thanks!

I love your tutorial! I bought templates on etsy and was fussing around with them in Cricuit design space. was searching for a better way to utilize them and this helps so much! I don't think they came with a black out cut file though, so I'll have to figure that out. My only question is what's the purpose of the open space above your day stickers?

I am just learning to make planner stickers, can you explain why you started out making everything with the images and colors you chose and then changed everything to the end result? Can you not start out with what you wanted to end up with first? I’m not criticizing, I really just don’t know. TFS.

yes! So I did it that way because I wanted to build the 'base' of my template. I like to know where which colors would look best, make sure I didn't have too many boxes in one color and too few in another, make sure I liked that I used that many colors (I could add or take away before creating the final design, etc) This way helps me to see where I want to lay things out. You can start with the colors/images/etc that you'd like, that way doesn't really help me visualize the way I'd like. I like to have an idea of the end result before kind of working towards the end result...if that makes sense. I also think I was approaching this as if I may not have the time to do it all at once lol! With a toddler at home sometimes I have an idea and want to quickly get a 'base' down before I'll have time to come back and perfect it. But yea, it was basically to give myself an idea of how the colors would look as they were placed out on the sticker sheet. Now I realize that I could select like one green dot, change the color, and then use the button at the bottom of the color pane to change all of that color to the new color. That would have been easier. You can totally start out working towards the end like you mentioned if that works best for you. Hope this has helped!

I’m not sure why you use the blackout templates. I’ve seen others use them but they don’t say why. Obviously I am new to Canva

I'm confused here....are you showing us how to do this for personal use or for selling? I'm asking because your using some images as is, without adding other elements to them, which I thought was against Canvas terms of use. If you could just clarify this, I'd appreciate it. Thx.

Can i have the canva file inside photoshop then turn it onto a png to get rid of the background then import directly to design space.? And are these also the settings for kiss cut stickers?

Hi, I can't upload the svg file to canva, am I doing something wrong? Thanks this was super useful
@MoeHoward5163 жыл бұрын
You’ll only need to upload the transparent white png file for this tutorial. Hope that helps!

Hello there! Right now I don’t offer commercial use for the templates, just personal use. Glad you found this helpful!

This was very helpful! I'm still confused as to png vs svg and the difference? Looks like they acted exactly the same!
@MoeHoward5163 жыл бұрын
In this instance they did. I’d originally added the SVG file to help customers stickers in design space which is a few videos back. Didn’t even think about using canva at that time!

is there a way to edit the templates- I don't use all of the boxes and some i use a lot more????
@MoeHoward5163 жыл бұрын
The templates in the shop can't really be edited. I designed them to have a variety of boxes, elements, etc. However, you can use the Canva tutorial for designing a template to make any elements you want! That way you have exactly what you need.

Usually I take feedback from here or instagram or etsy if someone reaches out. Other times I'll think - hey, I wonder if this can be done? - and see if I can do it!
