Watching this on a laptop in wales,loved this walk and story,this day and age 25 years is good,so here to many more.Love your dads ashes,my husband still has his mother in box behind the settee. Loved your stories could listen to them all day long,yes i remember the 90's and this bug meant to wipe out all the computers ect.to me 2000 onwards is not much to be honest,and its sad like so many things,the pub you have such found memories of,like everything has changed,same for london pubs most are not there nomore.hubby loved the joke"wills number one fan".been abit mental for me here,got pen y fan at 5 am climbed it by 7,then decided to walk around,big mistake on hottest day of the year,didnt get back to car to 2pm knackered.mega hug and love shout out to 2 my fav you tubers "duracell bunnies genx" and the lovely ob debs xx ps as you dont want anymore money,gives rach box chocolates and flowers xx

Well the Vlog we watched yesterday created huge intrigue to watch more and I would like to add great cinematography to the list of complements for your channel. We had to laugh at the beginning when you said about the Campervan - this is the only channel we actually watch that doesn’t have a camper 😂 all makes sense now knowing that you were thespians. Both of us were too before COVID. We met on stage doing Panto as Buttons and Cinderella 😍

Oh wow, (just seen the end bit now) that’s amazing you met on stage. We’re not actors, or, ‘thesps’ haha, I’m (Wills) head of sound and AV at a large producing house theatre and Rach is an ex pro dancer, now choreographer and dance school owner / teacher. Where was your panto, which company? Rach worked for years choreographing panto, mostly on Carlisle and Rhyl (you should check our Rhyl video). Also, you may or may not have seen Blood Brothers? In our Mold (2nd Best Market Town) video, we have a chat with 2 of the main cast from the Blood Brothers UK tour, 2 mates of ours who started their acting life in the theatre I work in. So glad we found you both, can’t wait to watch more x

@@PostcardAndAPint Oh wow, Blood Brothers is actually both of our favourite musical and what gave us a lot of conversation during early days of rehearsing. The pantomime was only Am Dram unfortunately. I (David) studied contemporary theatre at university and was the artistic director of a small scaling touring company whilst studying (ten years ago) unfortunately I didn’t have the guts to make a full time career out of acting so now I do a bit of writing as a hobby and use KZbin as my outlet to entertain (well I try, others may dispute the entertainment part 😂)

That's amazing...well, we actually have a look round the theatre and the Blood Brothers set in our vid as well as chatting to Sean Jones (Mickey) and Danny Taylor (Sammy) - two good friends of ours. In fact, Rach choreographed 6 pantos with Sean, and I sound designed a show that Sean was in once, and I was in the Youth Theatre with Danny over 30 years ago...crikey!!!. We also visit the Rhyl Little Theatre in our Rhyl one....there's a lot of theatre related stories in our vlogs - it's all we've ever known. That's amazing that you were AD of a touring company, very cool!!! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!! Oh, if you ever make it to the end of our videos haha, after we've done the pint thing, I always tell a dreadful joke, have done on every episode (except the odd one). You will see from that why I am backstage and not onstage!!!

It might be only a hill but wow, those views. The times I have passed through/by/over the Clwydian Hills and said that we must stop and have a walk onto the summits. Yet to do it! Those views though and the magical sunset have really made me want to experience them myself. It was great to hear some of the memories of previous visits and it is understandable that you hold the place dear. Lovely few minutes watching your movie. You always bring a smile to my face. I’m obviously a relative of the Grinch then, because I laughed at Wills 🤣🤣. Yes definitely stop if you’re passing the area, there are some amazing views. From the top you get l the beauty of Snowdonia, but then the industrial side out towards Wirral and Liverpool. We were lucky, it was one of those perfect sunset nights. Well id never have guessed that, from the photo on Insta I was going to guess it was the Sahara Dessert. I was getting ready to watch a crazy “Tunisia and back in a day”, which im sure you have in your pipeline at some point! But this was really lovely, you climbed your favourite mountain on the night of my birthday and what a cracking night it was too! That sunset was world class and it was lovely just taking the time to get up there at a leisurely pace and hear those lovely memories you have. Your Mum will be very happy rejoined with your Dad in that spot. Thank you so much for the lovely shout out and im sure the lovely Pete and Shell will be equally happy with theirs! Yes we’d have shot up there so fast we would have probably missed every detail on the way up, we definitely have a lot to learn from a walk like this one! Wills getting teary eyed about the dead Christmas Trees was priceless! Sunset hikes? I was hoping the hike we did last night would serve that purpose but each night is so different, even going on for 9pm+ the light was still washed out. Your hike was truly special! 🍻 to the good times! ♥️

Yes, mum will be reunited soon, then I can wave at them both on the way up. Mum could see Moel Fammau from her bedroom window and always called it her weather mountain. Whatever weather was on the mountain was coming to hers within 10 mins - she wants knew when to take her washing out or bring it in!! Beautiful mountain, fantastic views, gorgeous golden hour and lovely stories. 😍 Speaking of Gen X, I always thought I was Gen X but it turns out most everybody puts the start of Gen X the year after I was born. For years I've been slagging off effin' boomers only to find out a few years ago I'm an effin' boomer. Okay boomer, settle. Anyway. Having said that, I was going to ask how a boomer would cope on the mountain then you mentioned the defib machine. That answers that question. Again, great stuff. Brought a smile to this old boomer's dial.

Your best yet. Some stunning shots / colours in there. My brother and I climbed your mountain last year. There were a choice of routes. We chose medium,got lost ended up on hard !. Got to top and group of schoolchildren arrive and their teacher announced, remember children be mindful....I could have slapped her ( in a no violent anti woke way obvs )

Technically anything over 1000ft can be classed as a mountain. This is why I call my Horseshoe Pass hike around Moel Famau parent peak Moel y Gamelin my Ponderosa 4 Peaks Hike 😅
