Moel Famau Walk

A walk up to the Summit of Moel Famau, which is situated on the Clwydian Range in North Wales.

Amazing what you did with the final edit. You made it sound windy - the fake out of breath was convincing too. Seriously - well done for achieving what you could on such a windy day as yesterday. I would love do it the walk one day. Stay sharp bud.

Very interesting. I was up there on New years eve at midnight but the cloud was right down and visibility was virtually zero. I saw the gate but could not fathom it. From your video I can see it is the old tunnel entrance and it has been dug "down" (don't know why). It was possible to crawl through (well I couldn't, it required my step-son who was much slimmer) but I got some shots of the inside which was full of rubbish (now removed). It is interesting to consider it's original purpose and what was behind/under the collapse you can see at the back. :o) Ian

It is interesting, even why they are there those now "gated entrances" there must have been some underground room or tunnels to check on the construction in some way??..not sure..great place to see in the New Year...hope you have a good one by the way. Thanks Ian. :-)

What I meant was I don't currently have command of the TARDIS, K9 is flying it, but I have spoken to him on the mobile phone and he conforms that it can be seen through the Tardis's magnier scope from earth orbit. Might be going there this weekend, the only thing that worries me is that I'm afraid of heights, are there any sheer drops or does it gently slope away?

+Degzi coe They are not sheer drops, the path is very good, quite wide and safe, you should be fine, the slopes are gradual not sheer....hope you enjoy it.

It is easy this, I enjoyed the walk from Denbigh and back...long but good.
