Thanks Gregg, The Jubilee Tower was built in 1810 to commemorate the golden jubilee of George III. Designed by Thomas Harrison of Chester, it was to be an Egyptian styled obelisk, built in three stages. The tower was never completed however and in 1862 a strong storm blew it down. It was partially removed to make it safe and what you see today are the sturdy remains of the Tower.

A very cool video Paul, I liked the views from up there and the ending to the video too. I've been trying to get Graham to trade weather with me, maybe you will :-} We've had below normal temps around here this yr so far, it's been between 34.4*C to 39.4*C with an average of around 37*C for the most part of a month now ;-)) There's still another month to go :-] Thanks for sharing this and Take Care my friend :-))

I just hope it doesn't get to the record temp of 45*C like it did a few yrs ago :-} We're expecting a cold front this weekend, the high for Saturday will only be 31*C, then it's back to 37*C for the rest of the week :-]
