I used to think mo and Q were a cute couple but no they were just toxic, they were people with 2 strong personalities so even if they got married they would have gotten a divorce eventually cause all they would have been doing was arguing. Q wanted to control Moesha but she had a very strong independent personality. She needed someone mellow and that would go with the flow like Hakeem or Aaron. Moe and Hakeem were the best. Their relationship was very cute and it was like puppy love.

Moesha’s heart was in the right place but what she did was wrong. You don’t reveal your man’s troubles to another man especially when it concerns finances. She inserted another man into Q’s business affairs and possible made him vulnerable to his industry peers. If Q took that money he would have to share the profits from his group’s music with this other guy. Moesha was young and she didn’t know any better but that just evidence that she wasn’t ready to be married.

He asked for it back not because he didn't want to marry her but because of financial issues and she should have given it up with no hesitation if this is the man she's choosing to marry. It is deeper than that. Q could have given her a modest ring he could afford and tell her that money will be tight due to his dreams and plans. Instead Q was living above his means. We can’t dump on life commitments and symbols of that. That’s not the problem. A simple ring, a small wedding and a mutually agreed-upon dream will work. Those two are not on the same page. Whether they live together, get married, have a big ring or wedding or not they won’t stay together. It may result in her supporting him and a toddler and trying to work while he’s hocking their tv. All in all, the show started going downhill after Moesha's dad brought in Dorian. Personally I admit they were both young, dumb and made a lot of emotional decisions. I didn't think the ring was that big of a deal. When people get married the woman should care more about the man than the ring, its not like he wasn't going to get it back or give her a new one. They had a natural chemistry and that whole mess with Hakeem was a waste of screen time they were friends since forever, they both dated other people and were cool with it. Why all the sudden when Q comes in the picture he is pining for her now? And if he liked her that much like he claimed, why would he cheat with Niecy? It probably hurt Moesha more knowing Hakeem knew better and growing up together as a friends and trying a relationship. The writers really messed up here badly.

Most definitely....I think Frank always knew that out of everyone Q loved Moesha but it's also something he wasn't willing to accept because of them being young and his perception of Q....Moesha always appeared scared of her love for Q as well as it was easier to move on to other ppl as he did the same but with growth, maturity and wise counsel I believe they would have been a good couple

Watching this clip as an adult, I'm trying to figure out why the hell Q is paying for all of this stuff as the producer in the first place. Since when does the producer of an album pay for the artist studio time, food, travel, hotel expenses etc🤔? That's something a label would do. I see if he own a label and they were signed to his label but doesn't own a label, he just the producer and sounds like he's getting fuck over by whoever he's working with js‼

That's a wise statement... Dee was always busy trying to calm down Frank and Frank didn't listen... The lesson should have been on how to have a successful marriage.. Everyone Frank liked never showcased any real commitment to Moesha... Looking back Moesha appears in love with the look of a relationship over wat a relationship actually entails... Hakeem just didn't want Moesha to move on from him but his reasoning for being rude to Q was also pointless... Even with Hakeem Moesha got mad at him plenty times for working instead of going out etc...love is there between them but I think if the show wanted to they could have shown how to have Christian counsel etc to build a foundation
