What would you suggest for leveling a fresh Hc character? I have beat the game on normal but want to get the HC achievements, but nothing in stash. I see you have a bunch of builds/videos but idk what would be the best/funnest for leveling. I just did a witchhunter pets for normal. Want to switch it up though. I also don't want to die lol. Thanks.

Hey man, do you mean this exact character? If so i would recommend levelling with troll bonecrusher, fleshwarped casque and rylok crest (alternatively you can watch rektbyprotoss amazing guide on a pre avenger warder kzbin.info/aero/PL-7HuL5PyGEIWXraN6nc-s8rcwIXNMUMP . As for other options, pierce blademaster is very strong www.grimtools.com/calc/DV9g3LvN (a build from my friend reinan22, he did all content on hc) you can use dermapteran slicers, same helmet i mentioned and some greens you find along the way for levelling. Other options would include warlord, paladin,spellbinder but i would most likely search on the forums for some sort of guide, forums.crateentertainment.com/t/beginner-build-compendium-93-guides-for-aom-fg-expansions/106137 . @@joao6003 Ty for the reply, I mean what would you suggest for my first HC run. I noticed you have a bunch of builds on the GT website, so I figured I'd ask what you suggested doing first to successfully get to ultimate on HC. I usually use endgame builds for the goal then find leveling guides to get there, but most are dated. The last time I didn't ask first I went EoR and got smashed (this was awhile back on normal). Couldn't beat a lot of the pinnacle content so I always try to ask what people think before sinking 20+ hours into a toon.

It's likely you'll be more sucessful with the blademaster because theres no hard to get gear (outside shattered realm set which you just have to climb shattered realm 24 in order to acess the npc and reset the vendor). Warder is good but won't have nearly as much dmg and is more end game oriented when it comes to its full performance. Many of the builds out there are either poorly min-maxed or use tons of legendaries which goes against new player standards. There is also biases towards what would be fun and what wouldn't which plays a good part on this. Usually builds that utilize many green items,faction items as the weapons or whatever defines the build are the best options. This to say, avoid as much as possible builds that rely heavily on random legendary items. Blitz warlord is another good example, although i don't have a proper guide or grim tools, the top 20 builds from softcore should get you covered. If you want i could revamp it for a more hc oriented setup.

@@joao6003 I was checking rekts videos you linked and the 2 newest are a Cold DW reaper, and a BWC sorc. I can use that and follow along, but those are both a year old. The game knowledge some of you guys have is unreal. Anyways would you suggest either of those 2 or the blademaster you linked? I also don't mind farming a lot, as long as it's after I'm semi geared so it's not a slog. I spent like 20 hours farming bysmiels for my witch hunter.

Cold dw reaper is a cool little build you can do but it's likely you'll struggle with survivability on the end game. Bwc sorc follows a similar pattern, just that it can kite and damage is probably not the best. Blademaster on the other hand never falls off, the stats are amazing throughout the entire duration of your run and it only gets better with gear. I had actually been considering now for a while to make a list of very solid hc levelling builds to turn into very solid hc setups. I guess your comment just gives me more motivation to bring myself to do so :).
