Being a girl boss has phases. I just closed a 2 million a year business with 15 employees that I grew from scratch over the last 20 years. My kids left for college, covid changed everything and I decided this girl boss was moving to the beach, going to downsize my lifestyle and be a reseller. The best part of my day is driving down the beach to the post office. I’m choosing freedom over money.

My youngest daughter just left for college this year- a year early (she’s a senior in high school but decided to be dually enrolled). I can’t tell you how hard it’s been without them. I wish for a minute I could go back and hug those little pigtails. Listen to their sweet high voices. Embrace your babies. Live your life. On the end, that’s really what matters most.

Congratulations on your next phase! This popped up in my feed at exactly the right time. After 20 years of a volatile career and being treated like there was always a fire and emergency to solve only to be let go after getting companies to stable / successful waters, I'm taking a time out and full time reselling to take back control over my life and time. Good For You! You can't get back these precious years with your children. Money, Goals, and Dreams are temporary but what we instill in our children is forever. I have 6 children aged 15-33 and I have been a sit-at-home homeschool mom and I will never regret that. Now with tons of grandchildren I get to see what type of parent I was making out of my own children. It's amazing! I have a Police Officer, Teacher, Therapist, and two sit at home moms, and one student left. God is good and He will guide you with that inner voice that I am glad you listened to! I have enjoyed your videos and look forward to your next chapter.

Congratulations! I've owned a small housecleaning business for 36 years. Three separate times I've hired employees with the intention of building the business. I feel like the inner girl boss definitely comes in phases. I was girl bossing a few years ago with resale with my FT Job and Doing Resale FT and I just got burnt out. I finally took that break and now have "relaxed" working on my own mental health and mine and my husband's future♥

I’m so sorry I’m seeing my life in you. So inspiring!! My Aunt my icon my second Mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in September 2022. It looking back was more like 2018 undiagnosed. She was with us until a few weeks ago. I am so happy that you’re having another baby 🥰 I promise you it will lift the heaviness of your Dads diagnosis bringing new life and love into the world it’s the only thing that got me through such a hard time was knowing another little Angel would be coming into my and my family’s life. This video couldn’t have come at a better time for me to see right now, it’s hard to explain but I’m in a similar place in my life, I have 2 girls, a 3.5 and a 1.5 year old, since having my second girl and as she’s been growing it has become increasingly harder to balance reselling and being a stay-at-home Mom. Lately I’ve been toying with the idea of letting reselling go in a big way so I can be a more present Mom, and I feel this video gave me some clarity on what to do. You’re who I binge watched when I first started reselling so it’s nice to be able to still relate to you!

Love it! I started reselling in 2018 and I left retail management to have quality of life I wanted to travel more and with all the black out date restrictions in retail I was miserable. I’m from Brooklyn born and raised and want to see how other people live in other parts of the world since I left retail I went to Cuba, Greece, Portugal,Italy, Egypt, Mexico and I just got back from a two week trip to Japan. I do just enough to pay the bills and save for my next adventure. I have family on Maui and I’ve been here since June and my sister mails out my sales from New York life is good 😊
