@KleioChronicles2 жыл бұрын
I think they’re arrogant in thinking they’re ahead of the game so they think they’ll eventually come crawling back. Like that Mixer and Facebook thing. Honestly, from my own experience as a viewer, KZbin’s layout and options are better than Twitch now. Twitch is ahead in game interaction from what I’m aware but KZbin can catch up. And it’s KZbin which usually pushes a creator to bigger heights through the algorithm recommended and larger audiences (clips and edited videos doing the leg work). Twitch needs to see it’s starting to lag behind and that what it’s offering in terms of viewership, contracts, and creativity isn’t competitive enough. Any streamers that do bigger projects are likely to jump to KZbin if they get offered the same. I don’t watch live, so the streams I do watch are vods for like Teo and Chilled Chaos and those are on KZbin. KZbin doesn’t really separate it’s live and video notifications that I’ve seen so I’d be more likely to catch Ludwig live if he was on KZbin (and I did for the recent Mogul Money). Ludwig has a great concept for livestreaming gameshows with chat interaction. It incentivises seeing it live and participating, which then generates donos and subs from more live viewers likely to partake in that.

The „Twitch extension“ for KZbin actually makes me a bit excited about this move… Because one bad thing about KZbin streaming is definitely the lack of Culture. As a viewer, it just doesn’t feel like your own little world with no good emotes, common memes or inside jokes but it seems like that could be fixed by this extension. The one thing I still dislike about this it that it always feels like part of the culture of twitch is falling apart with every big streamer leaving the website. It also sucks that this all comes down to mistakes on twitch‘s part like not fighting for their creators and being, in general, what seems like a horrible company with weird guidelines, policies and decisions, making other websites more attractive from the get go.
@lardjellerslol61152 жыл бұрын
KZbin has its same weird guidelines and policies but the one thing that makes a difference is that youtube understands its a bigger company and having a connection with the creators that will bring you success or has brought you success is important even if its just a plaque for 100k-1mil its the idea that goes a lot longer of a way than doing nothing the way twitch has and they have been failing with that aspect for a long time

For what it's worth, I think you're making the right decision. Mogul Money and the other cool shit you make is top tier content and I'll be real, it's the content I subbed to your channel for, and it's the only content I reliably come back for. Sure I watch a stream or two here and there, but that's not content that makes me excited. I don't go to twitch like _"Oh boy, sure can't wait to watch Ludwig casually play a game while shooting the breeze with chat."_ but instead it's just something to play in the background while I do my own shit. But the other content, that's worth everything, and if this means more of that then I can only see it as a good thing not just for me, not just for you in terms of enjoying and being proud of what you do, but for the channel as a whole. I sincerely wish you nothing but the best, Ludwig. And never forget that we all came here to watch the stuff _you_ wanted to make, so doing what you think is best will always be the right choice.

Man, I have been watching Lud for a few years and he has always gave chat the feeling of being close and let chat experience things WITH him, but this felt very close and vulnerable, and that is beautiful. We're proud of you Lud, you have a achieved so much and there is nothing that can stop you from achieving more and bigger things. Ludwig7 -Chat, Your fellow LudBuds

as a viewer i like twitch as a plattform where you can see which channels are live on the side, they way chat works, clipping, and sorting by category, prime subs and cause most people are on twitch. youtube i love for the live player cause you can just rewind and speed up to catch up, it's annoying you can't just go back on twitch and have to load the vod if you missed a moment. and i like that youtube keeps all the vods. so i don't really care what plattform my fav cc's stream from as long as they're happy. i think it was a good decision for lud, i think his community will find a way to watch him on yt. it makes so much sense for him to switch, being valued and getting a better deal? hell i'd take it in a heartbeat. staying loyal and comfortable in that context would just work against his aspirations.

Bro, trust me: you're making the right decision. I had the same shit happen to me at my last job. Had they literally just approached me and asked if I wanted a job on base (I was a contractor), I would've jumped immediately. However, they reached out to what felt like everyone else because they thought they could keep me as a contractor. Well, I hopped over to Boeing very quickly after that and moved halfway across the country because they offered me literally 2k off of the maximum of the range I gave them. Sometimes, you just gotta go where you're wanted even if the people you work with are fantastic and the job is easy where you are. I will 100% be watching your streams on KZbin. Best of luck.

This video landed on my recommendations, and I’m in a situation just like Ludwig. I’m scared to make a decision but I feel like this video not only helped me; it helped me respect you even more and admire your decisions. Keep it up 👍🏼

It honestly made me quiver near to tears! It came out of nowhere and hit closest to home than anyone ever had, ESPECIALLY when combined with the previous "the only con is..... that I'd be *alone*"! these two lines back to back, the first hit me like a cement block, and the second gave me realization and understanding!!

I find it interesting to see big content creators like lud to jump ship on twitch, it truly shows how bad of a connection they have with the people that bring them money

this is the most human thing i've ever seen out of ludwig, and for some reason it's shocking, i forget sometimes that no matter how big a person is, they still are human, and they still have to make really hard choices, so i'm glad you went with what you felt was the best for you ludwig, cheers to your new youtube streaming carrier
