The problem is NO segregated themselves because they have this NO vs everybody attitude. They never embrace other La artists, they would always go outta state to distance themselves from being seen as “country/southern.” Plus if you didn’t make bounce they wouldn’t give you play down there. That’s why Atlanta took over the rap game in the South. They embraced anybody that wanted to make money and make quality hip hop. Didn’t matter where you was from.

@@stephon9677 I been to a lot of cities that have a similar mentality. But I always felt like NO did it a lil different. Like they really get offended if you suggest they from Louisiana. Idk if you from there, but I’m from Shreveport. Niggas down south be quick to tell me I’m not from Louisiana. Yet they don’t even rep it like that. It’s sad because NO could’ve been what Atlanta is today had they just learned to embrace more sounds.

Nola music fell off cause they don’t understand they need the rest of the state.. For some reason they don’t understand nobody is checking for them.. if BR right up the road and they on and popping why not go tap in with them.. Nola music will never be nothing again unless they get with the rest of Louisiana first simple as that

Pretty much NO sold out and BR didn't. NO always had this uppity way about them and don't want to be associated with Louisiana as a whole no more. It's also crabs in a bucket mentality out there too bad bad
