Every time the bass comes in at 3:40 I'm getting chills all over my body. This song taps into some primal element of my soul. Absolutely enchanting. Been listening to them since 2003-ish. Mogwai remain exceptional!

Wouldn't exactly call this mainstream, but they got rid of some of the industrial sound from their past productions and make more melodic music now. I personally like it a bit more than the old stuff.

Between this, Ritchie Sacramento and Hunted by a Freak, Mogwai seem to be developing an obsession with gravity and its reversal - not sure what it's all supposed to mean, but it goes really well with the uplifting quality of Mogwai's music, seeing them live was the closest my materialist atheist mind will ever get to a religious experience. If this is the soundtrack to the rapture I can't wait to be proven wrong
