I have been listening to Mogwai since "The Fountain" OST (2006). I can't say that it's a "every day band" for me, but I come to them when I am exhausted, confused, failing in an endless loop of self-reflection, and somehow they always help me to figure the way to escape from that state. You may call that whatever you want, but I definitely feel that I drift in the same flow/direction with the guys. Thanks, KEXP, you are doing great job by introducing great music to people :heart:

I have a 10 year head start on you and still can't believe how constantly awesome they are.
@valseeglitz2 жыл бұрын
Was only introduced to them two years ago. Immediately felt "where were they my entire life??". I saw them live recently, first show for me after Covid. What an experience. Wall of sound that just enraptures the senses. I will never forget it. They are now the same for me, as they are for you - I go to them when I'm not sure what I need, but then I know. And feel everything more deeply. Thank you, Mogwai

i fucking dunno what it is everytime i click on a mogwai video, i only know it sets me on a ride right from the first note, a journey of pure enjoyment, happiness and overwhelming feelings. it hits that one tiny sport in me where everything can happen. what always happens is, i fucking cry, with the biggest smile on my face. there is only one other band that manages this, NIN. mogwai transcents. they are the pink floyd of the 21th century. the only thing i wish on my last day on this planet, that my people and friends, go to my favourite place here, setup a few speakers and do nothing else then play mogwai the whole day, beginning and ending it with "fear satan" thank you stuart!

Such an amazing performance and so beautifully filmed. KEXP also has the most beautiful camera work. I film my music in nature and your videos are where I always come back to for inspiration and framing ideas.
