I can tell you, after watching no less than 12 hrs. of tutorials on KZbin and countless tries at their methodology time and time again thinking I had done something wrong, THIS was the ONLY video that allowed me to use the phone again. I installed a new replacement digitizer and when I went to reboot found out that the persons son had forgotten his swipe pattern. With no hope of the child remembering ,there were multiple email accounts the child had made due to forgetting passwords and none of the resets being accepted and already using a new phone, all the tutorials suggested a hard reboot. I did follow a few that said there was a way for a soft reboot without losing any phone information. I tried all that I could find, none of them successful. Most of the tutorials were on the correct path but the X power 2 had newer FRP and these wouldn't work. This tutorial was so easy if just a little too quick at times to follow(the 12 min. video ended up taking more like 20 with the pause and rewinds) but in the end, after many many MANY failures, this one finally worked!! I may have found this tutorial easy as I had followed countless others doing mostly the same steps and was by this time an expert at getting to the internet portion. The one thing that this video did not cover, (but I had learned from the others by this time) was the method to enable "Unknown Sources download" and this is very important for this to work.

Right on dude!! Keep educating the masses with the gewdy goods that u can buy nor get at any store or shop!! I started with my man over at RootJunky, then GSM, and u guys and Pangu!! Had to return to my roots so to speak!! This method is 100% working but I had to do it twice!! Thx $1 million!! But I finally figured out the FROnt locked ZTE that had for probably a year, but I did it!!! So if u get stuck on one of those anyone Holla at me! Cuz I got that HookUp!! Holla if u hear me!!

You have to IMMEDIATELY swipe down when you reach that step. It will time out if you wait too long and you will have to reset and start over

@@frp I did that and it failed AGAIN. Then I accidentally discovered WHY. When you get to the step at 4:08 and have to to a swipe down, there is a timeout and after it times out you cannot swipe down. You must swipe quickly after you reach this point. Took me a few tries to realize that.

If you do hard reset (By making device power off, Holding VOLUP and Power till you see the LG logo, Hold VOLUP while releasing power, press power once last time while holding VOLUP still, and you should enter Factory Reset mode. Reset there and it should get rid of youtube asking to update when you try again.
