The strange fact I’ve noticed is that if you approach very small startups, typically with fewer than 50 employees, the attitude of their HR staff can be dismissive. It’s as if they think they know everything and don't care about your skills, resume, or qualifications. Even a 5-page resume might not impress them if someone claims to have 8-10 years of experience. Don’t waste your time. Appreciate the fact that this girl reached out to the real HR professionals who value good resumes and actual skills-not just years of experience.
