एक बात जो रफी साहब की खासियत थी शायद किसी ने भी जिक्र नहीं किया जब कि जरूरी है कि आज भी जो कोई सुने तो सुन जान जाएगा कि यह देव आनंद के लिए गाया है या यह दिलीप साहब के लिए या राजेंद्र कुमार के लिए, यानी वो अपनी आवाज को उस हीरो की आवाज़ पर फिट बैठाने की काबिलियत के मालिक थे और यहां तक कि शंकर-जय किशन ने किशोर कुमार साहब जो जरूर एक बहुत अच्छे गायक भी थे फिल्म "शरारत" में रफी साहब की आवाज़ का ही सहारा लिया, यूं तो वो दौर सभी गायक अच्छा गाने वाले थे मगर यह खूबी सिर्फ ‌रफी साहब को ही अल्लाह ने बख्शी थी।

@@AnuragSingh-nn2cr भाई राजकपूर चाहते थे कि इस गीत को पहले मुकेश गाए मुकेश नही गा सके तो फिर मन्नाडे दा ने कोशिश की ओर अंत में राजकपूर ने रफी साहब से इस हीर को गवाया पहले ध्यान से सुने क्या इस हीर को इनके अलावा और कोई गायक गा सकता था नही इसलिए संगीत के एक्सपर्ट कहते है की गायकी में जहां सभी फेल हो जाते थे तब संगीतकार रफी साहब को ही बुलाते थे ये थी रफी साहब की विराट बेमिसाल गायकी का जलवा हटाने का कोई और कारण रहा होगा लेकिन आज भी इस गीत को कोई भी न गा सकता । वैसे भी राजकपूर के ना चाहने के बाद भी राजकपूर के लिए रफी साहब ने 45 गीत गाए कारण वही है ।

Raj Kapoor was never been in favor of Rafi Saab but forced to take him for some songs that only Rafi Saab can sing. He even removed a Rafi Saab song from Mera naam joker, that should have been the best song of the movie.

Wah ... Kohli saab very nicely compiled and presented... A song of Rafi saab and Lata ji "tum hi tum ho mere jivan mein" has its own interesting incident attached to it. It is said Rafi saab sang this song as stand in singer, which was to be recorded in Mukesh ji 's voice. But Rafi saab instilled so beautiful mood in the song that Shankar Jaikishan and Raaj saab decided to keep the song with Rafi saab's voice.
