Beautiful bows, wish I could afford another. At 67, wish I had time for another bow.

Love your videos, did just buy my first recurve bow after shooting longbow for a couple of months, did choose the Bodnik Redman :) Would be nice with a video explaining how to tune bows and arrows properly :) Shoot good and shoot straight, greetings.

Beautiful bows. Wolfie please do a review on the TimberCreek Cottonmouth from MerlinArchery! I would love to see you shoot it and hear your opinion on it. Oh and I honestly advise you investing in a HD camera. Honestly, you could get one for like a 100£ but it would be so much more enjoyable for your viewers and yourself!

Hi Wolfie, I would love if you could speed test the both of them to know if the recurve or longbow is the fastest! Just curiosity. Cheers

Thanks for some great videos😄 I was wondering if you have a all time favourite bow? You have tested so many fine bows, and you seem to like most of them a lot.. Keep up the good work😉

Alan here and a question Wolfie if you have the time and don't mind me bugging you. I have been looking at the Big Bear recurve now with the Mohawk is there a big difference between the two lie speed, how the two feel. Any replies would help. Bodnik makes too many great looking bows. Thank you. Alan

Hi Wolfie, great video, thanks! I am considering the Mohawk Recurve and have a draw of about 30". Would you recommend the 62"?

Hi, Wolfie. I want to buy a mohawk recurve and I can't decide between the 60" and 62" length. What would be the reasons to get one over the other? Thank you for your work, it makes things much easier for us, beginners.

Hi Wolfie, thanks a lot for all your videos. I have probably seen them all... or almost. I find them very instructive and have helped me develop as an intuitive (I prefer that to 'instinctive') archer. I have only practised for a couple of years, but already own quite a few bows, the primary reason being that they range from 20 lbs to 45 lbs. To quote a few, I have the Quick Stick and a couple of Super Kodiaks (black phenolic and Grayling green). I am currently waiting for a Mohawk Chief Hybrid with mycarta and acacia grip, and bamboo limbs. I cannot wait to shoot it (finding it difficult to wait, I have to say). I have been playing with the idea of getting also one of Bob Lee's bows. I was wondering what your experience of American bows is (Bob Lees, Super Kodiak and others). Thanks again for sharing your very valuable experience. Guy

Not sure that I would be able to handle a 50 lbs bow. That's just a bit too much for me.

Would you consider selling the riser on its own? If yes, for what price? ... unless you also have weaker limbs, which is unlikely.

Hey Wolfie, does this mean you prefer the Recurve Chief ? Or, what's your favorite bow these days? (and how much do you sell the Hybrid for?)

Hey Wolfie huge fan. I noticed your comment about the Hybrid Chief being for sale. I was wondering if you still have it and if so what were you looking to get for it? Oh and just to double check the one you're selling isn't the Recurve but the Hybrid?

hey dude I wrote a comment on this page on 2nd august. I have a brand new one of a kind bodnik super hybrid ghost recurve which is one of the best of not the best trade hunting bow out there and this super hybrid was named super ghost by henry bodnik himself and its stated on the bow. so see my comment of august 2nd here for full details and let me know if u are interested in buying this masterpiece. in this video he is calling the bow hybrid just cause of the addition of stability core. my super ghost has stability core + 2 layers of bamboo + 2 layers of carbon + 2 layers of bodnik speed tuff glass and outside curly birch and even tho its 45/lbs @28 still it can easily be pulled up to 32 without stacking and at 30 pull the poundage increases to 50/as confirmed by henry himself and he literally said this is one of the best and most powerful bow I have ever made. so of u wanna buy then I m on gmail and user I'd is himanshuyadav725. drop me an email and I will send u pics. oh and it comes with all accessories and arrows and extra whisper string +/2 sets of silencers and a few other things + u get a 30 year bodnik replacement guarantee as well. so if u or anybody else is interested to buy this brand new beast then let me know.

Wolfie - thanks for another inspiring video! Quick question: I am torn between buying a onepiece Bodnik longbow (such as the quickstick) and a three-piece Bodnik (the Mohawk hybrid). Are there any disadvantages to the take-downs? I can't seem to find any. And I definitely can't think of a better person to ask!
@Wolfiesairbrush
@Wolfiesairbrush 8 жыл бұрын
both are good options... take downs are easier to travel with... but don't qualify is some longbow competition classes... up to you... what bow/weight might you want..

Thanks, Wolfie! So if I hear you right, there is really no downside (for an amateur) to the three-piece bows, but the added bonus of exchangable # AND switching btw recurve and hybrid limbs? I currently shoot the 45# Cayuga RH, which is very nice but gives my left elbow a little trouble. Will try to compensate for that with pumping some iron, but might have to go down in ##. Thanks again for truly great videos; I have learned a lot, and more importantly, had much fun!

Very helpful video as I am looking at getting a Bearpaw recurve. Something was bugging me when I was watching your vids and I have just worked it out. You are in fact the spitting image of a younger and physically enhanced Ed Powers. Google to see what I mean. :) You will see what I mean .....ha. It is a bit uncanny.
