Sir I have done this with by Converting this equation in logarithmic one And get x>17root7 Then by putting natural number just after this (45) I get y=1 . Then I put x= 46, 47 ,48 .... But 2 power y is never get equal to the difference of x² -2023 . This fetch Answer to 45+1 = 46 .

not really took me around 3 min without seeing solution and if one has studies phy and chem well then PC section total takes around 1hr 15min tops so keeping aside 30min for revision one has min per Q for maths, which is good

Maine aese socha tha ---- x²-45²=2(2^y-1 --1). ,,>>>>>.( x-45)(X+45)=2(odd numeer). Lhs is. Even.×Even as there parity is same but Rhs is even×odd this not possible when numbers are natural number so it will be possible only if number rha 2^y-1 -1 is zero so rhs has to be zero. I think m-3 is similar to this but i thought this way because after guessing x=45 is solution we can preceded this way

No its not preciously correct. Because here you will get just one condition that is x is greater than 44 but as x belongs to whole natural no. This actually doesn't make much sense as their could be much more pair exist... Here you could either go with instinct and take a risk that would definitely be a dumb choice. Best is to skip this question during exam.

i think modulo arithmatic se aasan hota? x^2 = 2023 + 2^y mod(x^2) = 0(if even), 1(if odd) mod(2023+2^y) = (3+0)(y>=2), (3+2),(y=1) = 3(y>=2), 1(y=1) now only 1 is common from both mods therefore y = 1 is the only sol correspondent to which x = 45 therefore 46 is the answer
