The fist time i saw Mana i believed he was a girl, it was by the time Gackt leaved Malice Mizer and kami's death (1999) and it was not till 2000 that i knew gackt leaved the band, and it was till 2003 that i knew kami was death it was painful since i admired him, not only Kami i admire Gackt, Klaha, Yu~ki, Mana, and Kozi. lamentably i knew about the hiatus of the band in 2004, and the solo project of Mana wich is my second favorite band, you know wich one is the first.

He says in written interviews that he prefers to speak through his music. Even those who agree might say that he is also trying to maintain his cute image. I think that both are true to an extent, but I speculate that he is extremely shy as well. Either way I admire his convictions, he's only spoken out loud in public about 3-4 times in the last dozen years or so.

Actually "Mina" is the word for everybody. Mina-San is frequently used as well, yet is a bit more formal. "Sama" itself is just a highly respective surname often attatched to those who are highly regarded & revered. It isn't much used in conjuction with Mina however. Mana is his chosen name, and in general is often used to describe a strong but unseen life force in nature.
