He was invited to the Japan Expo festival in Paris in 2004, for a conference followed by a meet-and-greet behind closed doors. No cameras allowed. During the whole interview, he whispered his answers to the ear of the interviewer/interpreter, as usual. However, once the interview was over he grabbed the mic and said "je vous aime" to the audience.
