🥟 SHANGHAI DUMPLINGS 🥟
Wrappers:
Mix 2 cups all-purpose flour with cold water until dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth. Roll into a log, cut into pieces, and keep under a damp cloth. Flatten pieces into disks and roll thin.
Fillings:
Combine ground chicken or pork with chopped shrimp, Chinese cabbage, scallions, minced garlic, cilantro, soy sauce, salt, white pepper, mushroom stock powder, sesame oil, and angciu. Mix well.
Filling & Folding:
Place filling on wrapper, moisten edges with water, fold into a half-moon, and pleat edges.
Cooking:
Boil water with salt and olive oil. Cook dumplings for 4 minutes or until they float.
Plating:
Drizzle sesame oil on a plate, arrange dumplings, and garnish with cilantro.
