One day, pareho silang na involved sa isang banggaan ng bus at truck. Nahulog yung sinasakyan nilang bus sa bangin. Yung dalawang babae, nasa bingit ng kamatayan at tanging mga kamay nalang nung mga lalaking mahal nila ang kinakapitan nila. Yung naunang magkasintahan na hindi kayang pakawalan ang isa't-isa ay nanatiling magkahawak ang kamay. Ayaw pakawalan nung lalake yung babae kasi takot sya na mahulog ito nang tuluyan sa bangin. Kahit alam niyang hindi niya kakayanin na hawakan nang matagal ang kamay ng babae, pinilit niya parin kaya sa huli, nang hindi niya na nakayanan, nadulas na ang kamay ng babae at tuloy-tuloy itong nahulog sa bangin. Iyong pangalawa namang magkasintahan, alam kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng salitang pagbitaw. Kaya inutusan nung lalaki ang babae na pansamantalang kumapit sa ugat ng puno dahil kailangan niyang bitawan ang kamay nung babae dahil alam niyang hindi na niya kakayaning hawakan iyon. Nangako ang lalake na babalik ito. Kahit nasa bingit na nang kamatayan ay pinagkatiwalaan siya ng babae. Sa muling pagbabalik nito, may dala na syang lubid. Ginamit niya iyon para matulungan ang babaeng mahal niya at sa huli ay nailigtas nya ito. Ngayon sabihin niyo, kaninong pagmamahal ang dakila? Doon sa nanatili kahit hindi na kaya? O doon sa umalis at bumalik dahil alam na niya kung paano kang hawakan nang mahigpit at mailigtas?" A moment of silence. Walang nakasagot. And it teaches me a lesson. Minsan, nasasabi natin na "Ang tunay na pagmamahal ay iyong pagmamahal na nanatili." not even realizing na hindi lahat ng pagmamahal na nananatili ay busilak, totoo at dakila. That's why, if someone leaves you, don't ever try to stop them from leaving. Kasi pag bumalik yan, doon mo malalaman na mahal ka niyang talaga. Minsan kasi akala natin mas dakila yung pag-ibig na nananatili. Eh paano kung nanatili nalang kasi nasanay na? Nanatili nalang kasi natatakot lang na mag-isa? Nanatili lang kasi naaawa sayo? Oh dang, I just saw a story unfold when heard this song fully. A boy and girl meet in the most inconvenient way and spark a romance filled with so much joy and love. But the road ends when summer ends. They both live millions of miles a part and they knew it would not work out for the both of them. 10 years later, the girl and her husband wanted to have a date night and ended up going to an opening of a mew music lounge. Once they get in, the place looks familiar to her. They take their seats and have a couple of drinks. A performer was called on stage and everyone applaud. The performer speaks and she knows that voice anywhere and looks up. It's the boy from the very beginning. She's dumbfounded and her husband recognizes him as well. We get a flashback to the 10 years they've been a part and we see the girl struggling for a few months about their break up. She meets her husband and she learns to fall in love again. They have 2 kids and get married and it leads up to the moment she sees him after all these years. The boy starts explaining that he wrote a song for this girl, who he knows he can't have but he only wants one thing for her, to be happy. He starts playing the piano and sings Take Her To The Moon. He doesn't open his eyes the whole time he sings and when he does we get to see what he did for the last 10 years. He worked hard to get money and sold his favorite car to fly all the way to her. Once he got there, she already found someone else. He planned to go back home but his heart still belonged to her. He started playing in local bars and a lot of people were starting to notice him. One day, he got really sick and went to the hospital. After his treatment he felt like seeing new born babies so he checks them. He smiles at all of them and a man stands next to him and asks which one is his. The boy says none and when the boy looks at the man, it's the girls husband. The man immediately knows who the boy is and asks him what he's doing here. The boy explained he got a job here and it looks promising. The man said for the boy to come visit the girl and that she would love to know he's here. But the boy says it's better if they don't see eachother and congratulates the man and leaves. We see that the boy has been watching over her the past few years and when the girl is not in a good mood, he does something to make her feel better and tells a random stranger to give her roses. He watches her grow with her husband and family and it makes everything worth while for him. The owner of the bar that he's been working for for the last 10 years decide to turn the place into a music lounge and wants him to be his partner. Now we are in the present and the boy sings the slow part of the song near the ending and he opens his eyes. He sees the girl, tears falling in her cheeks and he sings towards her now. "And take, take her to the moon for me. Take her like you promised me, like how you told me the last time..." He finishes the song and everyone applauds. The day I saw Moira's cover of Baby Shark, I totally broke down in tears. See, like her, I lost my grandma a few months ago as well. Since then, I felt like I had this strange connection to her and her songs. When she sang Sana Ngayong Pasko on GGV and she broke down, I cried with her. And after I heard her performing a snippet of this particular song then, I was again reduced to tears. I know it's supposed to be a song for an ex-lover, but now, whenever I listen to this, all I could ever think about is my grandma and her sacrifices for me before just like Bingbong's ultimate sacrifice in Inside Out. :') Moira, thank you for this. This song made me remember how my heart got broke by my first love. Bagong pagsubok sa aming dalawa yun pala magiging huling sandali para sa isat-isa. While he was still lining up to check in he stared at me, I know and I can see those eyes are also trying to hold back his tears. His one last stare was giving me an assurance that everythings going to be okay even though were apart. Days passed by being in a long distance relationship went well...tho mahirap talaga lalo na sa time difference (canada and pinas). This song hits hard because it was my mom and dads anniversary song... My little brother, mom, and dad were driving home from my little brothers recital.. I was sick so my older brother stayed home with me to take care of me. We got a call from the hospital and the doctor was in tears telling us that my mom's car had been t-boned by a semi and they had all passed away, when we got to the hospital there was a note that the doctors said was for me from my mom.. i met my first love last two years, he was the perfect guy you would think of, smart, talented and sometimes nice. we only had an mu, though he promised me a lot of things such as i would be the last girl who would ever hold his heart. during the time na mag-mu pa kami this was my fav song and i recomended this to him because the lyrics were too meaningful but i didn't knew what love really was. christmas and we greeted each other, i asked what gift can i offer him aside from the shirt i gave him. he said "never-ending love and care". i think i just cursed myself with that. after three months we parted ways because he said he fell out of love. di ako makaangal eh afterall mu nga lang kami. pagkatapos non i listened to this song again, i realized what the lyrics were really about. take her to the moon for me. i might seem not to care about u anymore but the love and care was always there. i miss you and i still love you, even after all this years. pinagsisihan ko na i didn't end up in good terms with u para kahit papaano ay nakakamusta kita, i'm really sorry because of how i treated u after the break up. cy sana kahit papaano naalala mo ako, kahit sa panaginip mo nalang. :'((

He dedicated this song to me because of our complicated situation. He has a girlfriend currently but we had our thing way before he even courted her. But I'm the risk he never took. Then came that time that everything was fine, we became friends. As in a " barkada". But I dunno what gotten into him and he said he still likes me. Yet he couldn't get out of his relationship with her. So I was like building hopes for us that maybe someday its gonna be us. Until everything got so complicated that we cheated on his girlfriend. And as things got a major plot twist. Our friends found out. He tweaked the story and said that he wasn't really inlove with me. He just thought he is. So that's it. I'd love to hear this song but it only brings tears to my unfortunate almost love story. Now I can't even look at him in the eye. It still hurts. He seems so happy with his girlfriend while I am all alone here sulking in these tears he brought into my eyes. Wish the pain would just stop.
