That is a baller theory. What if the reason the Witness wants the veil linked with him or destroyed is because it is the thing keeping the witness trapped inbetween the parallel realms, and that when the laser shot the witness, it was finally placed in our dimension, hence it is finally able to open the portal it tried opening at the beginning.

All the witness wants is an end to the pain and suffering of life and that’s what the finale shape is it’s a solution to that problem so you could argue he’s not evil even though he wouldn’t hesitate to wipe out all of humanity to achieve his goal. Tbh you could compare him to characters like Thanos or Eren Yeager, characters who would go to any lengths to end the suffering of others even if it would mean their deaths.

Its super build dependent imo. My first run through on normal took around 10 hours or so with a stasis warlock build. But then I went back through it on legend with a suspend strand build with necrotic and osteo striga and I blew through it in like 6 or 7. And the only reason it took that long was because I was having a lot of fun killing all the ads along the way lmao

Basically, my strat for Calus was a battle of attritition at the beginnning i went to the middle to use my super and grapple to do as much damage as i could then i literally went in circles killing adds with my grapple which i had a mod for creating orbs when using melee and mods for when i pick up orbs to heal imediately and rinse and repeat this until i spawn the first tormentor then focus all my effort on it and adds until the tormentor was dead then repeated the process again until all the tormentors that could spawn were dead and then continued to kill adds to get my super and slowly deplete Calus HP. NOTE tho i was at the recommended light level and was soloing it on legendary mode and on hunter it took me like around an hour

I’ve solo’d every mission. Desperate measures is so easy until to have to fight calus. I recommend using taipan for the tormentors also for dps it makes everything easier

@@cbandit7715on that last phase it's totally possible. That's how I did. It's easy with Strand. Just grapple across the room and you have plenty of time to put a mag into him and super him the rest of the way.

I've been playing d2 for 5 years and this is my first time ever watching someone who isn't a friend play it, and honestly it's kinda cool and frustrating. Obviously when your streaming a game your focus is on entertaining and having fun while playing the game, but it's always a bit frustrating when someone claims something doesn't makes sense or ask why something is happening when it's already been explained. But hey, that's not thr focus, so I can't hate on it. Overall in opinion, again, opinion, lightfall as a nice, yet shirt. Dlc that was a bit iver priced but stuck had a fun subclass, really awesome final boss, and hopefully soon a nice raid to boot.

I think bungie made has made it clear that the ghosts or our ghost is the witness either the past, present or future. The eye in the middle of the ghost. The eye in the traveler in osiris book is the same eye as the ghost and the witness who is the all seeing eyes entered the traveler. All linked imagery.
