Stego has something called “life of the building” warranty. I don’t think they’ve been around long enough the have them wear out, but, in their words, “No company can match Stego’s record of 20 years protecting the foundations of buildings without a single claim of failure.” They’re pretty legit vapor barriers, and they have enough components that they’ve planned for every condition. They have termination bars, tapes for different substrates, materials to address penetrations, etc

good vid! what lime mortar product are you using? the original lime mortar is slowly falling off my schist basement walls and I'm gearing up to strip the remainder and parge over again. also have you experienced any schist stone that is easily broken apart and soft/flaky?
