I scanned my products a few days ago and realised all my products had protein in them and I noticed my natural hair was becoming hard. This video definitely has helped me understand how to read ingredients lists more thoroughly. Although I don’t have relaxed hair this was very very helpful to me thank you so much! Thank you so much for researching and then doing this video! This is the exact info that I need. There are SO many videos that just tell us the difference between needing protein and needing moisture. But this is the first one that I’ve found that actually breaks down what that looks like in hair products. So, THANK YOU! If you need ideas for videos (and you haven’t done one on this topic yet), it’d be very beneficial for us to know what different oils do on our hair. For example, i believe that some are more penetrating, whereas others are heavier and sit on hair. some are good for the scalp, some are good for the follicle. It’d pair great with this video because my next step is to look up what oils to use after I moisturize my hair to lock it in.
