Thank you, thank you for posting again! I have avidly binge-watched your videos for a year now (me and my daughter's loc-anniversary is coming up this month:) because your hair texture is one of the closest I have seen to my own on KZbin! My locs are definitely coming along...and some length is coming along with it...and I am so excited! Since my hair is still not fully locked yet (still have like 50% to go in most places) I haven't gotten to the place yet of brushing it. As far as moisturizing goes, I need to do a better job of squeezing in the product into each section. For the past year, I have only used 2 products to moisture: a spray bottle with Aloe Vera juice and distilled water (1:4 ratio), and some essential oils, and I seal with a bottle of oils (Extra Virgin Olive or Grapeseed) and more essential oils in it. I am also still washing my hair every 2-3 weeks (3 weeks when it's really busy). Your hair is a goal for me! Hopefully one day I can get there! Again, thank you for posting:) Btw, my family's from Jamaica, also💃🏾

This comment just warmed mi likkle heart. Happy loc anniversary to you both. Yes you can’t brush yet. But squeeze that product into the Locs to moisturize properly. My life is so busy especially with work and these little ppl in my house that call themselves my children. Lol. But I missed posting and connecting with you guys in the comment section. Thanks for watching and commenting ❤️

Are you know re-twisting instead of interlocking? You mentioned retwist a couple of times

Still do both. In between interlocking sessions I retwist. I interlock a lot more in warmer months when I sweat more, wash more and swim or when my scalp eczema decide to flare up which makes me wash more.
