Listened to this entire mix on the way home late one night. It was dark, I was driving through a forest, for an hour straight, on the Oregon coast. The song ended right as I pulled into the driveway - I was home. What a beautiful song. It was unexpected.

This song makes me think of my great Granny. I miss her so bad it hurts. She was diagnosed w/ bone cancer 2 years ago. She passed away two months from diagnosis. I stayed w/ her every day those 2 months. One night I left at midnight. I whispered In her ear that it was ok for her to go. Said there's so many people waiting for you iin a much better place. Kissed her head & said love u so much. My mom called me on the wa home & said she passed. This song was on the radio. Had never heard b 4 that

Justmethemomma Oftwohalfmen. hello I read your post about your granny I had a granny like that too I will 17 when she passed. I would spend all my Summers with my grandparents I love him deeply she was at my grandmother with a salt of the earth. very kind giving very loving so much more I could say about her but I'm sure you get the picture. I posted a reply how about my daughter's death 9 years ago she died when she was 31 after 13 days grueling tumultuous painful days. as I said in my previous post she introduced me to Mojave 3 when she was 25. I know what it feels like to lose a grandmother like I like you and I had. but no one can take those memories away from us they're in the Deep recesses in the corners of a hearts and Minds. my grandmother's name was Rita. when the Beatles recorded lovely Rita meter maid. I played it for her she gave me this look I've loved and happiness and she smiled and she said play some more of their songs and I did. she was a Renaissance woman what else can I say my grandfather was the same way. Kindred Spirits married for 65 years. thank you for your patience and excuse my typos I use the mic when I comment.
