Prva marama mi izgleda da je materijal džersij (Jersey). Količina pamuka u marami od džersi materijala može varirati, jer džersi nije vrsta tkanine već način pletenja. Uglavnom se džersi pravi od mješavine pamuka i elastina (obično 95% pamuka i 5% elastina za elastičnost). To bi trebalo biti naznačeno na etiketi. U principu, trebali bismo nositi odjeću uglavnom od pamuka ili drugih prirodnih materijala koji su prozračni, a ne od sintetike ili poliesterskih tkanina. To se odnosi i na marame.
