Mojidpur Jomidar Bari (Zamindar House) refers to an old aristocratic estate located in Mojidpur village, Titas Upazila, Cumilla. Zamindar houses in Bengal were often large, ornate buildings that served as the residence of the local zamindars (landlords) during the British colonial period. These families held significant power and wealth, controlling large swaths of land and overseeing the collection of taxes from the local farmers.
Although the specific history of Mojidpur Jomidar Bari may not be widely documented, most zamindar estates followed a similar architectural style with large courtyards, decorative facades, and intricate detailing influenced by both Mughal and British colonial architecture.
