For the playstyle i had in early stages i would go for Yngling Seax and Blodwulf shield but i know i used a different dagger-light shield combo: Modraniht Ceremonial Seax (increased crit chance after a kill) from 2020 Yule festival and Briton shield (heal after a parry) plus as i bow i used at that time either Viper bow with Spartan´s rune or vice versa giving me increased crit chances on hit and dodge. All while dawning full Thegn armor (increase to critical chance when parrying and additional increase to critical damage)

The Spear Gae Bolg is amazing its lighting effect is almost as good as Thors Hammer But the reach is insane thats why Gae Bolg my fav with Thors H as my seconday and Odins Spear would be #3

I used to run Gae Bolg with Mjulnir in the off hand, then I found out you can actually put Mjulnir's electric effect on Gae Bolg in the village. super op, lotsa lightning

my first load-out is vericas sickle is the main hand and astral blade in my off-hand. my second load-out is Togodomnus' axe in my main hand and Lugh's spear in my off-hand. my third load-out is the blazing sword in my main hand and Excalibur in my off-hand. my forth and final load-out (i wasn't bothered to upgrade the armory to max to have 5 load-outs) is Mjolnir in my main hand and gungnir in my off-hand. ALL of these loadouts have the einherjar bow which has the arc of elan bow skin. SOMEONE PLEASE RATE THESE LOADOUTS ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE PERKS BEFORE COMMENTING IF IT IS A GOOD LOAD-OUT OF NOT.

The two problems i have with these weapons are 1 that they are not special. Theres plenty of weapons that out due them. 2 you only get the "most powerful" weapons when the game is almost over, theres no point in getting them if you dont get to use it on the big bosses.

finished the main story with spear of leonidas and laughs spear dual wield. This in my opinion were the most effective dual wield as far as power and speed concerns. Once I finished the main story I changed to gungnir and spear of leonidas dual wield and this is in my opinion are the most effective combo in the entire game. However my another favorite is the hells scythe and the balhrafn scythe dual wield. This is probably the most powerful combo in the game but not as fast as the dual spear. bought the hells scythe at oskoreia festival in ravensthorpe with festival token and bought the balhrafn scythe from vagn , the river raid guy with foreign materials. those scythes really look badass in mythical. My new favorites are the Kopis dagger in main hand and Verickas sickle in the left hand. These are not the most powerful weapon in the game by any means however the effectiveness of this dual wield is far better than anything I have used. Kopis generates some health everytime you kill an enemy. That means my health meter never goes down. And verickas sickle just burns everything down after the third kill. It also puts the weapon on the other hand on fire so you can basically burn an entire army with this combo without losing any health. This dual wield with mentors armor set is just too good.

@@DubbleOboyzyeah, that is what I am currently doing. But I also think that the devs should have balanced the game in which it is challenging yet rewarding, not me trying to balance it for them. Odyssey and Origin did it, why can't Valhalla. Because what they do to make it harder is that enemies absorb more damage, you do less (literally), they lower your health, and your parry window is lowered. These are all artificial difficulty, they could've capitalized in the combat and paries, made the enemies vary in attacks, made other weapons work better in certain scenarios, gave more tools to make a hard fight easier, made it so that the level up is not just a number but actually meaningful, but instead you just have to balance the game yourselves and hope for the best.
