Dragons Dogma was better than the telltale walking dead game in 2012. Facts! As for the list, most games after 2020 were terrible and as for the direct list, Returnal represents how awful modern games are. Elden Ring and BG3 were amazing though.

The clip where you showed Sephiroth looking at Cloud while under his control at 28:09, STILL sends shivers down my spine! And those lines from Tyler {Sephiroth's voice actor} at 27:12, 'Hey, reign it in' and 'Kids...' at 27:18 never ceases to make me smile! 😍🤗

Yeah Shadow of the Colossus is a very ambitious and memorable experience but it is very limited in replay in my opinion. You play the game the exact same way and there's nothing outside the colossi to engage in.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was definitely my Game of the Year! It has a couple of little quirks…..what game doesn’t! But everything it does well…..it does SOOOO well!!

I can't after Remake destroyed the story of the original. I was so excited for FFVII to be REMADE not REIMAGINED. That literally killed my interest, as this game is shown to be written by a Tifa/Cloud shipper.

@ Well Remake means: To make again differently. Also, I don’t think they destroyed the story at all. I guarantee it’s going to do the same exact things. Where the players ultimately end up doing the same exact thing they did in the original. I feel all these “changes” they’ve done are just to keep people talking and guessing in between titles. And as a new player that started with Remake, then played the original, then played CC, then watched Advent Children, then reading all of the ultimanias and writer/dev quotes, then finally Rebirth…….I don’t think this game is written for Cloud and Tifa AT ALL LMFAO 😂 Of course they have some moments (most of them optional or affinity based), but the vast majority of canon non-optional moments have been between Cloud and Aerith lol

Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 is the Best Spider-Man game I have ever played. Combat is fun as ever, Kraven is such an awesome menace, playing as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales is such a blast, and most of all, Venom is the Best part of the game.

I don't remember Fall Out 3 enough but The Last of Us is a better single player game than GTA 5. The story was okay but after that it's just goofing around. Last of Us had better story. And I never played Half Life 2 to compare to San Andreas but I imagine they wanted to not have the list compiled of just sequels

This Witcher garbage needs to stop. It’s a decent game, terrible rpg mechanics and boring combat but it does the side quests well at least. Decent game and nothing more. MGS5 came out in 2015, if MGS5 came out in 2024 it wouldn’t feel dated, it would still feel ahead of its time, not a single game has ever played like it, smoothest game I have ever played, the amount of things you can do is crazy and it’s a crime Konami never did another game like it. Also a crime gang Witcher 3 continues to be put ahead of it. Go back and play Witcher 3 today, go see how badly it controls, how garbage it feels to even walk around. Gotta stop putting it ahead of true greatness.

Agreed. I appreciate that it's got voiceovers and not just subtitles, but the controls are terrible and the load screens are inexcusably long. And the story is not a "jumping-on point". If you didn't play Witcher 1 and 2 you'd be lost, as I was. Ruined the ending.

@@DemonKingNemo All the before 1985 were Arcade games with some having Atari 2600 ports. 1996's the Neverhood was PC and Symphony if the Night and Xenogears being PS1 exclusive. SMTIII and SofC on PS2. StarCraft II was PC exclusive. DOOM, Octopath Traveler, Hades were multi platfrom; Metaphor wasn't even on a Nintendo platform. Also, I think "Pro Japan" is what I associate myself more than Nintendo specifically. But, it just happens to be consistent despite that.

Sorry FF7 REBIRTH was not the best 2024, this was a 8/10 game. SILENT HILL 2 is way better than FF7 REBIRTH, REBIRTH is good beginning, terrible middle and great end, tho it's open world and VA gets very very...cringey
