Candidates for the NEET-PG exam were shell shocked to discover, just a few hours before the scheduled exam that it would no longer be held. The government announced a late night postponement amid a raging controversy around the undergraduate #NEET-UG exam where allegations of paper leaks and rigging of marks has erupted, Barkha Dutt meets shell shocked NEET PG aspirants, many of whom have come from far flung cities to take coaching classes and the exam and many of whose families have taken loans to make this moment possible.

Be it Media or common people who calls themselves educated but can't see the clear cut wrong happening in front of them and even if they do they chose to remain quiet. Let CBI do preliminary enquiry Coaching institutes always will want to start next batch fast as they'll get huge fees Let exam happen in 2-3 months & all give exam with full assurance that they are not writing exam thats being leaked already Gov either increase GOV pg seats by 5 times or scrape reservation in pgee as MBBS is highest professionals degree in country and should be able to sustain themselves and family members Let the exam happens in 2-3 months with absolute certainty of no leak in dark web

Unfortunately, the NEET UG does not even consider the basic marks taken by the students in their +2, the kids are forgetting to study the basics in their classes, now the schools are forcing the students go through the integrated class room, we call it as quality improvement in basic education??? what happens for those students does not qualify for the NEET, and end up doing something else...This NEET is a fiasco by its concept itself for the medical admission which does not even consider the +2 results. In my view, the refined NEET and consider +2 results as a base value with its own weightage needs to be considered for the medical admission, otherwise we as a country will be loosing on quality. With the current approach, you just need to pass through +1 and +2.

First of all why should there be coaching centres. It's duty of colleges to prepare their students to face these exams. There is whole nexus between govt and NEET coaching centres. Students just don't care to come to classes and listen and learn from basics. They just attend classes of these coaching centres. The students foundation is therefore weak on one hand and in the other it's money laundering and corruption at govt level. I really feel sorry for these students. They are cought between devil and deep sea. Only way to curb this is that fifty percent weightage to be given to their undergraduate performance

Undergraduate performance lead to even bigger internal bias. Schools and teachers there also had biases if not corrupt. It was for this reason that a separate non biased exam was initiated but of course if governments favor corruption in every field then education is just one of them. There has to be an INTENTION to be fair and NONCORRUPT by those in governance! If that is lacking this will happen in all sections of society including institutions, exams, corporates, banks etc….The most educated politician is behind bars and these uneducated goons has bn elected by us. Now just sit and suffer them I guess. India made its choice

You can go legally. They have exams for international graduates and will call you for interviews if you do well. Stay and food in hotel is paid by the program for the interview. Explore USA Australia NZ and Europe. Good and better options for docs. Even Dubai

@@deec2564no it’s not. The exam was supposed to happen in January. But last year it happened in March and ab 3 baar exam postpone and prepone hui hain. It’s a very tough exam, log job 6od k pdh rhe the, 25k to 50k jitna kharcha hua hain logo ka, because exam k 12 hrs pehle postpone ka btaya hain. Pregnant ladies, doctors with kids, doctors who have been giving this exam for last 3 to 4 years badi baat hain I am getting you are not from science stream or have no expierence giving competitive exams.

Surely still better to give a postponed exam rather than a suspected leaked exam . Agreed it shouldn’t have been leaked , but that’s a collective failure . Anyone can be greedy and corrupt . Paper setters, printers , courier , politicians , touts . On hand had u are compaining a leaked NEET and on the other a postponed PG . Let’s not discuss my stream of studies . Not relevant

AIIMS , MAMC, VMMC, SAFDARJANG are some of the top colleges in India. Try going to govt hospitals of Delhi and ask around the college of mbbs of junior residents working there, you will get an answer why there is a lack of quality services in gov hospitals. They are mostly fmgs. This post is not against the fmgs, but their parents who do corruption to get their kids to work as jr in gov hospitals.

In the name of good governance, Modi government, a one man governance, wanted to revolutionalise educational system and imposed many changes from introduction of NEET, NEP, CUET, CUCET etc. Despite objection from states against NEET, despite objections on NEP and even CUET and CUCET, the government went ahead with whatever they want. Even the CUET exams this time were done without proper planning by the NTA. Academics is in a total mess and it will take years to recover from these wrong doings.
