I think you haven't read US constitution. 14th amendment say that a person born with in US jurisdiction is a US citizen. If this needs to change then there is a proper procedure which is constitutional amendment via Congress instead of an EO.

Great debate As someone who has seen it closely, H1B visa regime while imp for filling skill shortages, is abused on a large scale to hire tech workers who have little say on low wages, brutal work hours & conditions. It distorts the job market & discriminates against skilled & eligible American workers just bz they can’t be exploited in this way. This system needs to be reformed by clealy identifying missing tech skills & fixing their wages 20-25% more than the US job market, so US workers with same skills & experience get hired first, putting an end to its abuse.

I did my studies in the US and lived and worked there for 20 years. I never became a citizen. Circumstances brought be back in 2003. As one of your panelist said, "India is not a hell hole" and Indians from the US should not hesitate to return to India. I agree and disagree. There are many countries a lot worse than India. But once you get used to the lifestyle and comforts of the US, it does take a change of mindset to resettle in India. Allow enough time to transition. But it is not so bad. If the US had over a billion people it would not be the same.

It has become craze To go to US. Dont forget , in India we have reservations. in all the spheres of life, from admissions in colleges to employment. Where will people from general category go.? Meritocracy takes back seat in India. Many politicians , who are pandering for vote banks , have made very difficult situation for people of general category. In India, there is no fair play. Justice not served to deserving people. We have been deprived of our home land, where we trace our ancestory from 5000 years. What has the present dispensation done, to restore our birth place yet we claim India is a great democracy. This is also one of the reasons, why some group of people, leave this country, when patriots are treated as aliens.
