Yeshvant has a point. The reality of rural Maharashtra - shrinking farms, unemployment, depression, addiction in male population. The women suffer the most - caring for family, work, and a perpetual cycle of misery. This is the first time ever someone directly reached out to them. This is gratitude. Yes, this marks a tectonic shift in the electoral politics where women voters took matters in their hand and thanked their brothers. However he does NOT have skill, temperment, going all out and street smartness to lead India in this new era of complicated geo-politics. Secondly, it's Modi's thidd term, yes he might not be all correct, perfect, there are social and econmoic problems and all that stuff like everywhere else, but no one cannot question his hunger, drive to take country to the next level. The insatiable hunger to do whatever it takes to position India strong and turn into a formidabble economy cannot be disputed. On the other hand Gandhi family is corrupt, FAMILY ALWAYS ALWAYS COMES FIRST!! COUNTRY NEXT!!Today if given a chance to make Priyanka or Rahul the PM of our country, DO NOT BE SURPRISED THE VADRA will sell a portion of our borders and make money off of it. that's the hard truth. Why our election results are 360 degree opposite to exit polls nowadays..? Probably there is an answer for it in my personal experience. When Hasina won the last election, I got really confused. This was not the impression I got from my discussions with so many expatriate Bangladeshis before the election. There had been a universal hatred against Haseena in their talks. When I raised this confusion to a Bangladeshi after the result, he bluntly replied that she would win because she had your EVMs with her..!
