In this episode, we embark on our first journey into Mokala National Park, South Africa's hidden gem. This trip was an eye-opener for me-it sparked a newfound passion for exploration, wildlife, and the beauty of the African landscape.
Along the way, we had some incredible wildlife encounters, including giraffes, rhinos, and more! We navigated through stunning biomes, tackled a few 4x4 trails, and soaked in the diverse scenery that makes Mokala so special.
This experience was life-changing for me, and I can't wait to continue learning about overlanding, African wildlife, and the incredible geography that this continent has to offer. Join us as we explore this amazing park and discover the beauty of the African wilderness!
As much as we love these adventures, it’s essential to remember the importance of conservation. The incredible landscapes and wildlife we get to enjoy are protected thanks to the hard work of the dedicated staff at these parks. Supporting conservation efforts is crucial to ensuring that future generations can experience these places as we do today.

Nice setup! You guys can however go much lower with tyre pressures on the gravel. I run my bakkie at 1.8 bar permanently with about 300kg constant load.

Thanks man! Yeah already added a few small things for the next trip. Yeah that's what a lot of people have told me as well, so i will bring them down a bit more when hitting gravel.

Do the Kgalagadi! Looking forward to seeing some more of your trips. If you want a more proper 4x4 trail in a Sanparks park, try Mapungubwe. The 4x4 trail takes you over and in between some awesome rocks and the sand gets pretty tough!

Kgalagadi on my bucket list! I want to do it all. Buuuuut, me we might have bit off more than we can chew with this next trip.... Will reveal soon, also much more challenging 4x4 I'm hoping.
