Met a one of a kind man the other night and he was so full of love and life. Wishing he could have something he feels he doesn’t deserve. We talked so much that night and I was so excited/amazed by him and he explained he was a father and quite vulnerably he wanted to hear me love him back. It’s hard to describe how much I cared for him but couldn’t compromise due to so much loss and grief I’m undergoing at this time. But that didn’t mean I didn’t want to know him more, that night I could see fear and sadness in him- I later learned that he wouldn’t ever be able to try due to a controlling relationship and his kids being held over his head. He’s in a tough situation and he himself decided to let me go and have faith that things could change. That destiny could maybe bring us back together in the future, all to say I sent him this song to encourage him to fight until he makes it out and rely on people that do care. 🎵 sometimes you just have to focus on getting better. ❤️‍🩹

It might not be one of the most movie like MV's out there, but it's been a long time since the lyrics of a song resonated personally with me.
