Were you in the earthquake zone? I was, and also went to southern Hatay a week before the earthquake. My friends from there found their relatives piece by piece, they put them in grocery bags. It's so sad it's funny, people from northern Hatay still voted for Erdogan. We deserve all that happens to us.

Unfortunately, it's just a "vibe", I live in Poland, and it is similar here. People who do not live in Slavic countries think that it is beautiful here, but it is wrong here. The environment alone depresses me, and makes me more and more a doomer.

Im from România, and to be fair, I can say the same. These broken down apartments give me chills every time i see them, and show really the the dark side of the country. I am lucky to be living in the well off neighborhoods of the capital, but when you look at the other ones, it’s truly depressing.
