Don’t be scared to go further out with the bondo it will be a lot better to get a smooth transition otherwise you might see a weird wave in the panel where you bonded the fiberglass panel just keep the block straight sanding in multiple directions and it should come out pretty straight but other than that it’s looking pretty good man

Not, put a line of panel weld on the bare metal too. On the fiber glass piece it is ok to flatten out the panel bond with a wood stick or something for more surface area. After in place you could add another line to the outer edge and then flatten out. That’s advice from 3M

i think that you use a wrong bondo..first you need to put reinforced bondo with strands inside send it then regular bondo filer and on the end putty filler..becouse if you dont put with strands first it will crack...

Dude make sure when you apply bondo that the surface is sanded, and is that kit plastic or fiberglass? If it’s plastic you have to sand it then apply adhesive promoter or the bondo won’t bond right and down the road just lift. I do body and paint if you got question hit me up bro! @smurfrides on IG
