I love the desert! Lived in the southwest for most of my life. I'll take the dry heat over this hot humid weather in the south, any day. So glad you got to spend time with your friend. Thanks for sharing!! 💚💚💚🌵🌵🌵

Hi Sammi. The dry heat was not bad, but after a while of being out, your body takes a beating. It was as high as 117 F (47 C). Way to hot🥵

Every time I watch your orchid videos I envy you. In southern Ca I struggle growing phal orchids. Was so amazed that you enjoyed your visit so much. You r a real plant lover. Thanks

Awe thank you Sandy. I do love plants very much. They are my life. 💚 I know in that growing orchids in California can sometimes be challenging. My advice to you is if you can, invest in a humidifier and place your phals in a room where they can enjoy the humidity. It works wonders.

Amazing nursery!I love all the bougainvillea in Palm Springs..brightens up the desert landscape!If you like Mexican food..Las Casuelas Nuevas is my fav!May be too hot but the beautiful outdoor dining is wonderful!

Hello! I agree. Palm Springs is very hot, but those mountains are worth the trip. Maybe next time I’ll go in October when the ice caps are resting on the mountain tops.

Always enjoy a nursery tour. Did Ken ever find out that you tricked him? I love hummingbirds, they remind me of my grandma. She had a feeder too and there was this one fatter hummingbird that would like to chase away any other hummingbirds that came near the feeder.

Yeah. The desert is not the same as Florida. We have so much flora to grow and show. When I get back I’m sure there will be allot of new blooms to show. 🌺
