Oh heck, you can see the science museum in the inner harbor, so I know about where you are. I once walked from about a mile up from where you are, down to the harbor, all the way into downtown and then around Stanley Island, and back- 16miles! If you have time, visit Granville Island and enjoy the Public Market. It is tons of fun! And eat at Tojo's! It is world-class sushi. Enjoy! )And I see you got to go to Pidgin- it's great!).

I don't which part of the city you are talking about, but yeah there a few undesirable places here as in any other places in the world of course but let's not generalize. And will you stop being racist to Asians, even the Euros are migrants to this Native Indians land you know? And btw, it rains in Van but in Spring to Summer this place is a PARADISE. 😊
