My Nana was an amazing artist who used oils back in the 50's and 60's. She switched to acrylic paint in the mid-70's. I loved her art and I loved her, still do. I also live in the SoFla area (in Pompano). A few years ago, I picked up crochet and I'm quite obsessed, but I also love to watch an artist whose medium is paint do their thing! PAINT ON MOLLY!!

Would really love to see some of these without the ‘wrecking’….or maybe very minimal ‘wrecking’. Have you ever tried a sort of spiral ‘wrecking’? That would be cool to see. Just something less geometric maybe. Ooooohhhh, and have you done a swipe over pearls? Can’t remember if I’ve seen one like that. And yes, I loved the one before this one the best. CAN’T wait to see your Golden interference colors!!!!!!!!! Love you Molly. Love your art. Love your enthusiasm. Love your sense of humor and your laugh.

I thought this would be more colorful. Well, we learn as we go.😊❤ I do like some of the swirl patterns, but they were going different directions. Even the greats miss a few. Babe Ruth had the home run record for 50+ years, in a shorter season. But, Babe Ruth also had the record in strike outs. You rarely have a strike out. ❤😊

Ah, through my eyes this is exquisite! This is really the pathway into fantasy land! It is other-worldly. To draw anything like this would be almost impossible - but you have created it with pouring. 2 thing. The first is before you end your pearl paint experiments can you try a flip cup with them? It would be amazing to see what kinds of cells you get. Second. What if you do this again and pour straight from the layers you poured instead of the sides so the colors don't blend as much?
@fashionmews68866 ай бұрын
You are bursting with ideas! Love watching your channel. You mentioned that you framed your artwork before artigras, would you mind sharing where you purchase frames? I assume you use floater frames? (Question❓ for Molly at the end of this comment) I love color! All color! And yes I normally, like u, love bright colors but I'm loving all of these monochromatic dark experiments you've been doing. The one before this one reminded me so much of a geode before u wrecked it but it was so cool after u wrecked it as well. I wonder what would happen if you added a metallic silver in between the layers? For some extra brightness and shimmer? Also, I had a question ❓.. Molly, on your swipe paintings, can u swipe with colors instead of black or white? Like, could u swipe with a neon green over a dark blue, or gold over black? Etc... Couple videos back when u did the black base and white base and swiped with black on white and white on black, the neon green lacing over the dark royal blue color was so gorgeous so it made me wonder about that.
@MOLLYSARTISTRY5 ай бұрын
thank you for your lovely comment Crystal! yes, silver would work nicely here too I thinks. and Yes, you can swipe with different colors, but not all colors react well, white or black works really well and consistently. everything just need to be tested.
