Oh, Molly! Thank you so much for this one. I just got my first commission and the guy sent me into a tail spin. He wants red, yellow, green and black. I was scared to death about colors turning to mud. I'm gonna give your Floetrol idea a try and see how it goes. Thanks for all the great tips I've picked up from you. This 65 year old gal has learned a lot from you kiddo!

That turned out amazing! Please dont worry about the length of your videos, if people dont want to see the setup process they can fast forward. I learn so much from the beginning of your videos where you explain everything you are doing. I am making my first attempt of pouring today now that I have finally gotten enough supplies together. Art isnt cheap 😘. I have covered my entire floor with plastic and my 7 year old son is gonna do his own canvas so fingers crossed both turn out good! Thank you for sharing so much information with us beginners! Love watching your pours, especially the ring pours!

@MOLLYSARTISTRY5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Flip chops are a thick consistency, I use 1 to 1. It will vary depending on the brand paint and the color used though. I use treadmill silicone

Interesting! I really like the final result!😍 I don’t like doing dirty pours because of the dirty part! ;) I might try your technique, tho. Does is get less muddy if the paint is thicker? Have you tried to flip and drag? I use only two colors in each cup and I usually like to have 4 colors in total, plus black and white. That way, I don’t get the muddy effect. Good luck for your show!!🍀👩🏽🎨🤑
@MOLLYSARTISTRY6 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you! Yes, they do muddy less if the paint is thicker. Too thick and the cells will have a haze to them though. I have done flip cups with 6 colors and as long as the paint is the right consistency, the colors dont muddy too much. I just like experimenting! Thanks for watching!
@patriciasmith76046 жыл бұрын
what is interference mix
@MOLLYSARTISTRY6 жыл бұрын
It is a paint made of mica pigments that when mixed with other paints can make the pigments reflect and make colors more opaque etc

Sorry I couldn't be of more help! I would maybe see if you could ask your family of that is possible and maybe they could help you sell? Or help you seek the legal advice you need?
