If Jon Jones doesn't take the fight, his legacy will have a MASSIVE Tom Aspinall sized asterisk. He'll be remembered as a heavyweight that preyed upon much smaller light heavyweight guys for most of his career, then jumped into the heavyweight division to fight guys that had been great but largely were old and/or fat. Then when an actual in-his-prime Tom Aspinall shows up, Jones hauls ass as quickly as possible while saying he's "dodging up and coming dangerous fighters" lol. Whether that's true or not doesn't matter - it's what people will remember.
