I live in Maui and I work as a marine biologist and diver in Molokini Crater. This is not only NOT Molokini Crater, but many of the fish aren't even native to the Hawaiian Islands. This was filmed in a completely different country - judging by the fish species, probably much further southwest of us.

@@elizabethmcleod246 I think it may even be a combination of various locations throughout the pacific based on the different fish species I see. Either way, the title is extremely misleading. NONE of the clips used in this video are taken in the Hawaiian Islands, and DEFINITELY not in Molokini Crater.

@Ants Atlanta it’s not Molokini. I’ve been leading dives there 5 days a week for ten years, there aren’t parts of Molokini above 130 that I haven’t seen. Plus you can tell by the critters and types of coral.

i went to maui a few weeks ago mid january , i got slammed into the coral alot, dam the water ocean swells up the drops i almost ended up on the coral a few times, but im not the best swimmer but it seems the land drops out from you very close to shore and you instanttly in the real ocean, just a warning for any new snorkelers it was amazing but seemed kind of rough , bring your flippers for sure
