Babcock, Lamoriello, and Shanahan... Elements for success. Let's hope that the players realize it.

Mike played and coached many years ago in the UK with a team who I supported Whitley Bay Warriors.. He was truly special then.. I'm sure this man will come good. Go Leafs.

Being a leafs fan and seeing us improve on and off the ice is an amazing thing. Watching the wins and loses just makes me excited for the future. Go Leafs Go

Same. I'm excited to see Babcock work his magic. He really is one of the best coaches in the NHL and its already showing. We've improved so much and in a couple seasons it will all be worth it. I be-leaf

That's amazing, Babcock goes around shaking hands with his players saying "Good Game" That's a damn respectable coach.

I played in the OHL & AHL & I've had a few coaches that came around & shook our hands after a hard fought battle & it means a lot & goes along way with the players & coaching staff.

love the Leafs and this series is awesome. but I won't lie the fact that Kessel wasn't even recognized by Leafs management in his return to the acc I find a bit upsetting. He was our leading scorer for his six seasons here and in the top 5 for points in the league five times in those seasons. He deserved an ovation from the crowd and to be recognized as the favourite Leaf of many. Still, great series and Go Buds Go!

Congrats Lupes. Say what you want about the guy, but he has 200 career NHL goals, and you can't take that away from him.

I know its about the Leafs but it would be nice to see a bit about the Marlies too as a lot of guys down there are the future of the Leafs. I'd like to see Gauthier and his chess board make an appearance.
@sudsysutherland3595 жыл бұрын
I totally agree, the Marlies play a big part of the leafs & they won the Calder Cup in 2018 which was huge for the Marlies first & foremost but for the Leafs as well. Marlies are just a call away being just down the street which makes it much easier for call ups compared to when they were in St.Johns.

Just think of the ten of thousands of poor Leafs fans who have come and gone and have never seen a Stanley cup parade in Toronto! We are talking almost half a century! RIP

bothers me that they had the funds to make "the leaf" series but not compile the best moments Phil Kessel had as a leaf to honor him at the acc
@avsrule2479 жыл бұрын
+Byron Cai Rest assured, that was not a "funds" issue. They were happy to see Phil leave town.

A White by far the best player the leafs had in the modern era (maybe jvr)

Lou Amerello is an amazing GM when he was with New Jersey but I'm sure he's experiencing a total different beast being in Toronto. Lou isn't stupid as he obviously knows the huge difference from New Jersey to Toronto winning or not in Toronto you sell out crowds no matter what, The Leafs are the Yankees of the NHL, yea the Leafs haven't had winning years in over a decade but as a franchise no other NHL team can compare other than the Montreal Canadians. Detroit fans make me laugh because they call it hockey town in which when you watch a game on TV between let's say vs the islanders the building is half empty, that's not a hockey town, a hockey town is packed game after game no matter who there playing win or lose. & another thing Detroit fans forget is that it took them 42 years to win another cup until they did it in 1997. Joe Louis was empty for years until they win a cup & then that quickly died off & it's now empty again game after game, when the Leafs go to Detroit it's half leaf fans & that huge outdoor game in Michigan was more leaf fans than chicken wing fans.

did not like this episode, it reminds me of 24/7 as in they just show games i already seen from different angles and post game interviews i seen already. I want to see behind the scenes of the dressing room and front office, as well as players lives.
