Logan, after your ups and downs with weather and all your hard work, I hope you have ended up with a great harvest! God Bless you all!!

At 76, I've got many years of gardening behind me. But this evening you've taught me to cut the tops off my Brussels sprouts when the lower ones are mature in order to force a more even crop. Didn't know that. I live on the west side of the Pacific Northwest where Brassicas happily grow.

I bet you the average grocery shopper in America doesn't realize how brussel sprouts actually grow!?! Because they come in a bag or loose in the produce area. It's really a beautiful plant in the field. I admire you & your hard working family. Farming vegetables by hand every day is a back breaking job. Thanks for letting us into your lives. It's enjoyable & informative & quite educational too. Are the dogs any help? They look like they have so much fun just following along & running through the fields. ❤🐕 🥔🌶🌽🍅🍆🍓

When commercially harvested they cut them all off the stalks in the fields, the harvester cuts the stalk at the base then the stalk is fed into a machine that cuts the sprouts off and send them to a bin, it’s much more efficient

I'm not doing it again for you but i love your honest work 😜 I'm a lot older than you have and have a 7500 square foot allotment in the UK. My sprouts have never looked as good as yours. You put what I've got into perspective and I understand how much work you put into your business. I hope the channel booms as you deserve it 💥👍

Beautiful. I just can't get brassicas to grow here. Do you use fertilizer? Manure? How do you keep pests off? Thx
@hazelbrungard16232 жыл бұрын
If you cut a small X in the core of each sprout, the sprout will cook evenly and help get rid of some of the strong cabbage taste.
