@@The.void_is_coming what about the women who ended up pregnant from a one night stand? Or from assault? Or are in domestic violence situations? Sure, if the partnership is safe, healthy and loving, the guy should absolutely be involved. But a lot of women who get abortions are not in relationships like that. It is her body, and if she does not want to go through nine months of her body being changed, it is between her and her god, and no one else.

That is a minority that could die from pregnancy, I think abortions are allowed in those circumstances. Besides that, it’s killing because you don’t want it, ‘I can’t afford it’ is usually untrue, as there are many resources available, whether you choose to raise it or give the child to someone else in the community

@Kai44224 thank you it went amazing so far I go back aug 7 to be 100% cleared. But yes they do luckily I had to have mine for life saving reasons, but I still had to fight for months to get it. And glad now I don't have to risk having any children I'm not ready for.

I live in Georgia, and I think there’s a six week ban currently in place (not sure what happened because it was being challenged in November and I can’t find new info) so the closest state where abortion is protected is Virginia. If I want an abortion that’s seven hours one way to drive.

The difference is that many people do it just because they can….and lie and say it’s already dead while yes I have a uterus and so far the bill dosnt attack the medical aspect of it I also think it shouldn’t be completely illegal due to foster care systems being shit and many teens afraid…., still I wish they wouldn’t lie about it saying it’s not murder….or can’t effect fertility which it can I’ve had family members lose there fertility just because they could….my mothers had doctors lie to her to force her to pay and get a abortion….ive had family members strapped down if they changed there mind… people will carelessly say “ops now I get to kíll another one” while others have no choice and end up having a miscarriage and blame themselves while the whole world is making it a glamorous decision to kill a child…..if it was dead it wouldn’t be moving if it was dead there wouldn’t be a heartbeat dead things from the womb are not alive that’s a miscarriage

hot tip, but when you're talking about people who can get pregnant, you can just say 'people who can get pregnant', or 'people with uteruses' as opposed to 'women and nonbinary/trans people'. even though the latter might seem inclusive (and definitely is for afab trans folks!) it actually excludes trans women as a category, since it rests on the assumption that 'woman' means 'someone with associated female reproductive organs'. the more you know! :)

It is never a decision made lightly.
