I begged my mom growing up to make me lunch just one time! I always had to make my own if I ever wanted it and used to pretend in my mind she made it! There was something so special and appealing about it. As a child I liked to look forward to a special midday treat but I would have loved just one lunch that looked like this growing up! It's so important to make your kids feel special and wanted.

Here’s a hack I learned about when I first started cooking. Let a wooden spoon across your pot that you are boiling stuff in. And the spoon will keep it from boiling over and all over your stove.

I don't know what it is, but there is just something SO endearing that you know how every child likes their sandwiches. Some with mustard some without some with 1 cheese slice some with 2 etc. It really shows how much you love your children. It's heart warming.

I know you didnt ask but just a few tips...please start rinsing your meat (just cold water or white vinegar)...season all layers (the actual meat...the flour and the potatoes) and you should try Lipton beefy onion soup...you can just dump the packets in the crock pot whenever youre slow cooking your red meats...I promise you'll love it 💜💜💜

When you take your breads out of the oven, let them cool and then run a knife around the edges, pull them out and wrap each loaf in Saran Wrap. Leave them overnight on the counter and then take a loaf or two and cut into slices for the kids. The flavors will be better that way and no mess just eating out of the pans.

You need to try the 3 packet roast. A pkg of ranch, brown gravy and Italian dressing mix. OMG do good. It makes the best gravy. You’d probably have to triple it. Recipes are all over the internet. I always make mashed potatoes or noodles for the gravy

Love the way you get everything done before the kids get up....and everything looks good! About the pot roast...Next time maybe try taking some of those pan drippings and mix some of that left over seasoned flour in while on the fire for about 1 min then add in either chicken stock/broth, beef or water and continue to cook a couple more minutes and then add over your meat. You'll end with a great flavored, slightly thickened broth in your end product. Either way, I'm sure it's gonna be 👍.
