I just want everyone to know I unexpectedly went into labor and was rushed to the hospital with NOTHING. and it was TOTALLY FINE. they gave me EVERYTHING I needed. My total stay time was 9 days. The only thing my husband brought was a clean outfit for me and the baby to go home in. It was all good 👍

I think it all depends on how long youre there, and how much stuff they give you. BC I went to the hospital with almost nothing with my first and I was miserable. lol! But I am so glad that was NOT your experience!!

I’ve had 8 kids and this was pretty damn close to my tried and true bag. Loved watching it. (No idea why I’m still addicted to these videos LOL) My biggest tip is just make sure your bag fucking rolls. I hate seeing those other influencer mommies packing these super cute duffels like… girl, your man is going to have to strong arm like 4 bags on your way out since all you get to hold is baby. Give him a break and make it rollable. Plus. I’ve had emergency situations where I had to hit the ground running and head to the hospital for induction before he could catch up with me, and waddling to L&D with a duffel?! No! LOVED seeing that you had legit luggage to bring. SOLID. 🎉 Also. Hell yes to the celebratory shot. Every time.

Idk about everyone else but I loved getting a good freaking shower after giving birth haha! I’m due for my 3rd in February and I always pack all of my shower stuff!! Razor included! It just feels so refreshing after your body goes through all of that!

Just be careful if you’re having it in the hospital! The girl who shared a room with me in the l&d ward had champagne and our nurse reported her to CPS and they had such a hard time there after that. It wasn’t worth it

The ice pads were a life saver when i gave birth, but the hospital gave me a bunch and if i needed more i only had to ask. I will say when i had my son they looked at me strange when i asked for one. I needed it for a migraine, but i had a c section. Swaddles are very important.

So that gown I had was second hand! It was given to me by a friend, but here's a similar one! amzn.to/3LpPGyP What you will need and use depends ALL ON how your labor and birth goes, which I never really realized til after my first one!! For instance, if your water breaks and you get to the hospital and you are in labor for like 24 hours... you can chill and watch netflix if you get an epidural etc... and relax and you'll want games or cards, and a computer for that time. If you have a rough birth, and they keep you there longer, you'll wnat more things for you and baby etc. But if you have a birth this time like I did, there was zero time for netflix, snacks......etc!! You're so welcome! Congratulations on your baby!!

The fans with the gorilla type (bendy) arms is better bcuz you can wrap the arms of it around the side of the hospital bed and use it hands free. You can use them on your stroller for baby after delivering as well. Congrats on your little boy, he’s adorable like Harlow!

My 2 births I brought 1 bag and inside it was 1 newborn pj, 2 newborn outfits, 1 swaddle, my deodorant, lip chap, phone chargers and some snacks for my husband 😂 and that felt like I brought way too much. My first delivery I had a pair of fuzzy socks but they got covered in blood and I tossed them out so second time I never brought any.

Wowsas that’s amazing. My bag consisted of nothing as I didn’t get time to pack it before I went into labour 😂. In fact I ordered all the stuff the day before in prep and it came after the birth so my husband brought in packages to me daily (had a nearly 2 week hospital stay). It was so embarrassing as had to ask the hospital for everything. We didn’t even have baby clothes as he was too small for the normal newborn outfits we bought. But you know what… we got through it, so ladies don’t worry if you don’t have everything! Improvise!

Oh my gosh I'm glad you had it at home though for your husband to bring you! that's a long hospital stay!! That's what I mean like you never know whether you'll need all of it or none of it!! I never thought nipple shields existed. Unfortunately my baba didnt take to my breast and didn't have a good milk supply next time i'd definitely get one of them dresses may so they can see how dilated id be. I know this may seem tmi but the firet poop after giving birth is amazing haha.

I have 2 kids and I hardly use anything from the bag I packed. A lot of things were provided for me by hospitals. My second time we went home next day I went home in the pjs didn’t even bother to shower in the hospital. My baby also didn’t have a bath in the hospital I just wanted to go home.

My first never got confused with what was the nipple and what was a pacifier. Second wouldn’t take one even if we tried. He hated them. He wanted his blanket. I’m currently pregnant with baby number three so we will see. My first was in new born clothes for 5 days and my second was never in new born he was to long. Even the 0-3 months stuff was a hit or miss. I learned with my first just to get 0-3 months stuff forget the newborn unless you have a small baby and know they aren’t going to fit 0-3 months for a long time

That’s allot of puss stuff😂😂. Oh my goodness… literally none of this good shit was available when I had my brats 41 and 39 yrs ago. The only thing the hospital offered was a heat lamp, that dried out stitches and made them tight and sore, or a sitz bath, which you had to use sitting on the shitter!!! I clearly remember with my son, not being able to pee or crap!! I lied to the nurse in the hospital and told her I crapped and I went about 2 weeks before it happened!! I had actually started running a fever and I was only 16 so I lived with my parents and my mama finally figured out what was wrong with me. She threw chocolate ExLax down my throat for 2 days, until the dam broke!! Ugggg!!! That shit was miserable!!!! You were definitely prepared!!!! ❤.

Omg. I went in with nothing. And Thankfully I didn’t need it except for pads and undies ! I had her too fast. 4 hrs. Ha. And she was my one and only. Single mom. So ummm yeah 😊😊😊😊I see your new little (incase people Haven’t seen Instagram). Adorable so cute. Edit. My baby wouldn’t latch on TO ANYONE I used nipple Shields and they are amazing. She never had trouble going from them to bottles etc …I didn’t have sore boobs etc ..

The oil doesn't burn in a diffuser! It comes out in the mist and there are actually so many oils that you rub on too, OR put in the diffusers that are great for babies!
