Mom of UT linebacker Jake Ehlinger shares story of his accidental overdose

AUSTIN, Texas - Jake Ehlinger was known on the football field as “Fearless #48.” The UT linebacker unexpectedly died in May of 2021 from fentanyl poisoning. Now his mother is sharing his story to save other young people from accidentally overdosing.
“Jake, he was just joyful and always smiling. He was loving football. He was very tough and probably thought he was a little invincible,” said Jena Ehlinger in a video she made for Fentanyl.tv.
