They DO have a choreographer, but J-Hope also adds in a bit of his choreographies into the mix. J-Hope and Jimin both help oversee the practice and guide the ones who usually get lost in the dances, especially on RM and Jin. If I remember correctly their choregrapher's name is Son Sungdeuk.

the best way to describe jhope and jimins dance styles: jhope: urban, sharp, more aggressive jimin: emotive, graceful, & he’s very light on his feet they’re both main dancers because they each bring something completely different to the table & that’s why i think it works so well! on a different note, i’d love for kook to do b-boying (breakdancing) again! he was so good at it, but i haven’t seen it in a while

@BTS equals seven man, this is wrong. First of all ther's a hierarchy in Kpop when it comes to particular skills and it's like: main>lead>sub. All of them are in dance line (well, I'm not sure if it's official info about Tae joining the dance line though, because it was a tweet from BTS choreo director Mr. Son Sung Deuk, but nothing was confirmed by the official BTS account or a BTS CEO). Anyway their profiles on Korean broadcaster's sites say that Jimin and jhope are main dancers (메인댄서) , and Jungkook is always called lead dancer (리드댄서). Jhope is called "dance leader," or "dance captain" by BTS members, but that info actually isn't on his official profile, but nevertheless it's legit because in many interviews BTS members called Hobi that way. It's his additional role as a choreo teacher, he for example checks dance moves before the group going on stage.

@@user-oz5cm4lf6u have you read , what I wrote? it was Son Sung Deuk, their choreography director who said it after SIngularity MV on his twitter, but does it really mean that Tae is in a dance line now? I mean does Son Sung Deuk has this authorization to actually promote someone within the group? Sadly BTS profiles (on Korean sites) haven't been updated since their debut, so it's difficult to say if this info is really official. On English sites made by fans, you can read that Tae is in a dance line (he's a lead dancer like Jungkook), and that j-hope is a sub-vocalist but I don't think it came from BTS CEO or from official BTS site bts.ibighit.com/bts.php - here BTS profiles don't contain positions in the group.

I just think it's important to separate facts and official information from the stuff you may learn from other fans like introduction guides, where in many cases you don't have quoted the sources of the info. These introduction guides have many errors actually. I know that people who made them worked really hard to do the best work, but nonetheless there are errors and omissions. Like for example there's always only RM and Suga mentioned as main songwriters/composers but jhope has already 79 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA, he's been writing since the beginning, even on BTS first album he's credited in 11 songs out of 14. But somehow most of ARMY don't care/don't know about it. Anyway my personal opinion is that Tae is good enough to join the dance line, I really like his dancing. So at least we may agree on that :D

BTS has an In-House Dance Trainer/Choreographer Mr. Son Sung Deuk at their entertainment company BigHit who has been with then training and coaching then since pre-debut. He has also did the choreography for most of their well known earlier songs from 2013 - 2015. Like for "Danger"' "Boy In Luv" and I Need U" to name a few! Then starting with 2015 song "Dope" they started using many times Keone Madrid who's done choreography for Justin Beiber and many others as well. He also did the Choreo for "Fire" and "Not Today" as well. Then for "Mic Drop" they used Rie Hata whose worked with so many famous artists such as Chris Brown and Lady Ga Ga to name a few! She also did the choreography for "Anpanman" and "Airplane PT.2" as well! Brian Puspos known for his choreography for Chris Brown, Drake and Justin Beiber is actually quite close friends with JIMIN since they have worked together several times before aside from Brian's choreography for the BTS song "Butterfly" which is absolutely phenomenal! He was the one that actually did the choreo for Jimin's song "Serendipity". Mr. Son Sung Deuk has actually won Best Choreographer of the Year 2018 awards for his choreography for BTS song "Idol" so he is most definitely still actively doing choreography for them. Many times these other choreographers send a vid over with the choreography they designed for a particular song and Mr. Son Sung Deuk will go over it with them as well as J-Hope who has the capability of learning the fastest will also oversee and help them learn it along with the assistance of Jimin the other of the 2 Main Dancers. Keone Madrid never actually met BTS in person until they went on their Wings Concert Tour in 2017 to the USA where they finally met for the first time in person! Whenever they go on tour Mr. Son Sung Deuk always travels with them to make sure their dances fit on whatever stage they might happen to perform at during tv interviews as well as continually going over dance moves to makes sure everything is always on point! When the tines he's not around J-Hope will be the one in charge of making sure everything and everyone is on point! The members might make suggestions or change things up just to finalize and make all the choreo go smoothly work the best on stage but the actual choreography is left up to the choreographers. 👍😱😵😄😍💜❤️💜🐥

Song Sungdeuk is their only choreographer for most of their songs. He wins lots of best choreography awards this year. Other choreography Madrid something did for V’s singularity. Jhope is the leader of the dance as well as Jimin also add execute moves. Jimin is former top contemporary dancer which is why he is very good. Keone Madrid has helped design the choreography of quite a few BTS songs, including Fire, Not Today, Blood Sweat & Tears, Singularity and DNA. Keone's own dance crew was featured in the Singularity music video. He has worked with BigHit/Sungdeuk for quite awhile (as well as other Kpop acts...). (P.S., I love your mom. :-))

Jimin is not only a top contemporary dancer who also studied ballet and Korean traditional dance which he was so good that he had an offer to dance overseas, but before that since age 11 he trained and performed Hip Hop and Popping as well as competed and even won competitions while attending the acclaimed Just Dance Academy in Busan. Then later he did start doing Contemporary which he was always top student with honors in but his first love was Hip Hop/popping which he studied first and why he is so good at it! He also has such a strong inner core which gives him the capability to do moves that many dancers are not able to is because he studied martial arts for 8 years since he was quite young. He not only has a blackbelt in Taekwondo which is why he's able to do all those Taekwondo flips but studied Kumdo and Chinese martial arts and was even offered a scholarship to study more extensively in China because he was that good.

JIMIN actually first studied, performed and competed in Hip Hop and Popping since age 11, JIMN went to the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan. At a certain point since he couldn't really afford to attend a teacher there allowed him to stay for free since he was that good, winning all his competitions as well as his performances! He then went on to study Ballet and Contemporary dance as well as even Korean traditional dance. In the High School of Performing Arts he attended he was always the Top student with honors since the beginning of his attendance there! He was known as the "Rising Star of Busan" After a performances in a show in Busan he performed in! He even had an offer to become dancer overseas! When JIMIN decided to go to Seoul and audition for BigHit instead that teacher said the world of dance is losing a great artist, although it was another teacher that suggested he go to Seoul. JIMIN was given the official title of Main Dancer and Lead Vocalist immediately after being signed by BigHit and accepted into BTS. Since J-Hope and JIMIN were the only ones who had a background in dance long before joining BigHit they both helped in training and coaching the other members who needed help especially in the beginning! Jimin is also able to do all those Taekwondo flips since he actually first at a quite young age trained in all kinds of martial arts for 8 years including Taekwondo where he has a blackbelt but also ever since he saw the Anime One Piece and loved the character Zoro he wanted to become the best swordsman in the world so he studied for 8 years Kumdo which is a form of Korean martial arts derived form Kendo in Japanese martial arts as well! Since he was so good at all kinds of martial arts he was even offered a scholarship to study martial arts in China more extensively. This explains why JIMIN has such strong inner core strength that allows him to do certain moves that many other skilled dancers are not able to do! Many other K-Pop idols are in awe of Jimin because it's quite rare to be able to do both hip hop and contemporary. Many younger idols even applied to Just Dance Academy where JIMIN went in hope of learning some of JIMIN'S popping and hip hop moves! Jimin is also known and admired for his hard work ethic that compels him to be the best at whatever he does to the point where he even excelled in school in everything he studied, was always the top of class and was even class President all 9 years he attended school. He drives himself almost too hard non stop since he is get critical and hard on himself to be the best! But then again that's the very reason he is that good! 👍😱😵😅😍💜❤️💜🐥

omg finally jesus! how many times i have had to mention this! jhope is my bias and jk is my wrecker but i do notice Jimin is never hyped on his dancing as much when he is extremely talented like jhope in popping and locking, jhope himself has said he always gets shocked how good Jimins popping and all of that is! also ^ you are super correct it is so hard to go from contemporary back to hip hop as the centre of gravity in the body is different for the two styles you have to learn to lower your core gravity for hip hop many dancers can't achieve it and cant switch between styles whereas jimin can glad people can appreciate him too!

Rie Hata, Keone Madrid, Brian Puspos, Markus Pe Benito, etc). They also have their own choreographer and performance director under their label, BigHit Ent. His name is Son Sungdeuk. Sometimes, BTS gets involved in creating some of the dance moves too. Rarely though. Jhope and Jimin (Primarily Jhope) help in teaching the other members the dance moves and they make sure to perfect the choreography. P.S. Both Jhope and Jimin are Main dancers for the group

So...they don’t choreograph the whole dance. They actually have a performance director name Son Sungdeuk. He choreographed most of their songs. They sometimes use a few foreign choreographers like Keone Madrid.. but, Son Sungdeuk will blend it into BTS style. Mr. Son teaches the choreography to BTS (J Hope is a quick learner, so he learns first). Then, J Hope is in charge of making sure they perfect the routine during practices. J Hope and the dance line also work with Mr. Son to add in ideas and make changes during practice. So while BTS isn’t the main choreographer... their dances definitely have their creative input and only ends up clean because J Hope doesn’t mess around when it comes to dance practice. He’s been known scold them and be really stern...even with the older ones like Jin.

Jin is the oldest- he was born in ‘92 (his birthday is December 4th). Suga was born in ‘93 (his birthday is March 9th) ‘94 line- J-Hope (February 18th) and RM (September 12th) ‘95 line- Jimin (October 13th) and V (December 30th- haply belated birthday Taehyung!) Jungkook was born in ‘97 on September 1st. So not only have they been together since debut but they also trained together predebut and they’ve done a lot of stuff together besides music that cultivates this brotherly love and family dynamic that they have. Jin often cooks for them, RM is really good at giving advise and insight (he’s a wonderful leader), Suga is super protective (and caring), Jimin is very loving etc. They have lived together and since Jungkook joined very young the older members have seen him grow up (they were at his middle and high school graduations), pass multiple milestones, and have been like parents/older brothers/friends to him.

Yes they have a Choreographer his name is Son Seung Duk. He doesn't do choreography to other artists before he focuses on BTS. But now, he choreograph some of TXT's songs as well(TXT 'Tomorrow by Together is the youngest artists of Big Hit, considered as BTS' baby brothers). Choreographer & Performance Director Son Seung Duk. Now they have many choreographers, But Son Seung Duk remained as their Performance Director (Big Hit's Performance Director). He's always with them in every performance, rehearsals, mv shoots and in their concerts. Jhope is the Dance Leader/Choreography Leader. But, if you watch their new show the I-Land Son Seung Duk was one of the judges there.

Keone did V’s Sigularity and his dancers were in the MV Quickstyle choreographed Save me... side note quickstyle were students of Keone and Mari Rie Hata did Mic Drop and Fake Love And my fave Brian Puspos who has worked with Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. BTS has choreographers and dance teachers, Mr. Son Seungduc and Keone Madrid are two of thier main ones. Mr. Son is in earlier videos like Beautiful​ and the SBS No More Dreams and Boys With Fun dance practices. He even took Suga's spot in No More Dreams because he was in the hospital during the dance recording. Keone Madrid is responsible for V's dance in Singularity. J-Hope learns in hours what it takes others days and weeks to perfect. Dances: Boy In Luv, BTS First Concept Dance Performance Trailer (they're dancing to Limp Biskit), Tomorrow, Danger, Run, BTS Concept Trailer: Good Camera, BS&T, Dope, For You (Japanese Dance Version). The main choreographer is Son Sungdeuk he has been with BTS from the beginning. Big hit use others choreographers from US and the Globe to assist from time time when needed. J-hope was a underground street dancer well know for his dancing prior to auditioning for Big Hit and Jimin was a classical dancer. So they both bring their experiences and they help the other band members.

Jungkook and Taehyung (V) are lead dancer. JHope and Jimin are main dancers. The members call JHope dance leader because he helps they choreographer a lot: putting his own moves, making sure learn the dances first so he can help the others, making sure they practice (tho i doubt it's necessary to tell them), you can see him telling a member to be a little bit more on the right or to be careful with a hands etc. To be honest Jimin also do that stuff (helps others, pay attentions to make sure everyone is doing what they have to do). He and others (JK and Tae if i'm not wrong) have also gave their own moves to the choreographies. The thing is that it's like JHope becomes the one in charge when they are in the practice room. BTS have worked with various choreographers, being Son SungDeok their main and always-present one. He only works with BTS. They produce, write and compose their own stuff. Being Yoongi, RM and JHope the most involved (all the other members have also music credits; JK for example produced Magic Shop). They have, tho, producers who works with them most of the times: Bang Sihyung (Bang PD, creator), SupremeBoi (ex almost member that decided to be a producer instead) and Pdogg [June, Yang Ga and Adele (new) too]. Yoongi said that making music is like a classroom. They talk with each other, throwing ideas around.. Namjoon said that it happens differently: sometimes BangPD wants then to make a certain songs, they work individually then they all say which part is better for what, then they show it to BangPD and he tells them what he thinks, and they keep working on it or not. Sometimes it's not in that order. And of course when working on solo projects, they are mostly the ones who work on it. Except if they decide to bring some other person (like RM with NESS) to complement their project. I remember that one of the producers was making the mixing for JHope's Blue Side while he controlled (Twitter). Or V and RM working with a producer to make 4 o'clock (BangtanBomb). But THEY are in charge. Anyways, you can search for the credits if you are curious. You'll see RM, Jhope and Yoongi all over their discographic They said that BangPD was trying to work with more producers so BTS can have time. Actually officially since the very beginning until now BigHit still has the same official line up without change. Which is both J-Hope and Jimin are officially according to BigHit both Main dancers and are listed as such and always have been! Many international fans especially solo stans have either received incorrect information or have listed falsely inaccurate line ups since around mid 2016 when there became more and more international Army especially in western countries. The only one that can change the line- up regardless of what anyone else says is the CEO himself Mr Bang Si Hyuk. Jungkook is and always has been listed as the Lead dancer. Both Jimin and Hobi are the only ones who had prior dance experience before joining BigHit. Jimin started studying, performing as well as competing in Hip Hop and Popping since age 11 then went on to study not only Ballet and Contemporary but also Korean Traditional dance as well. He even had an overseas offer to dance and was always the top dancer with honors in schools he attended. J-Hope did Street dancing and even was in a troupe called Neuron already performing before joining BigHit. So it's only right that both Jimin and J-Hope are officially given the title of Main dancer. Jk had no dance training at all before joining but since he signed at such a young age pre-debut after joining he was able to train and study dance a bit and was not only a fast learner but grew to love dance so this is why he amazingly had the capability to be good enough to be listed as a Lead dance but still does not have the many years experience as Jimin who is such rarity and admired by so many other idols for being able to dance both hip hop and contemporary and J-Hope who is also acclaimed as being the fastest to learn new choreo!

In my opinion mostly it's because Jimin is a vocalist and has more lines in the songs than Hoseok, who is a rapper. But Hobi has some killer dance breaks too, like in DNA, or No More Dream Dance break and don't forget a freestyle beginning of Mic Drop or ending dance break in Baepsae to name a few. For MAMA 2016 dance battle, both Jimin and jhope did great performance, and they BOTH had many solo dance performances during BTS concerts.

Did you know that you're a year older in Korea? If you're 24 in the US, you're 25 in Korea. Why? Basically because you come out 1. Then on Jan 1, EVERYBODY'S age progresses, regardless of actual "birthday." So... say a baby is born today 12/25/18. He's 1. In a week, on Jan 1, he'll be 2! Yep for real. The best way I've heard it described is that you are an age or a year for every year your life has touched not necessarily the duration you've lived as we would count it in the US. Does that make any kind of sense? Let me know; I'll try to clarify. BTW… Depending on the month you were born and timing of your US birthday and Jan1, you can be two years older in Korea. @@shayaandar9195 they just signed a new 7 year contact so Jungkook is probably the only one who wouldn't have to serve before the contract ends. Tae & Jimin will be on the borderline. The law says all able bodies men under the age of 35 have to enlist for 2 years by the time they're 30. Depending on when BTS new contract starts Jungkook will either be 28 or 29 when it ends, meaning all the others will be at least 30. For some weird reason it goes by international age instead of Asian age.
